    Hello Wynncraft gamers, it's me who is like unknown to like 90% of this community- and I present to you my very own Model Pack for Wynn.
    Uh yeah that's about it. I make models, I think they look cool, I compile them into a pack and there it is! An unholy abomination of 3d voxels.
    If you ask why is it already like v1.3, I released some versions of this pack in the discord server of the guild that I'm in. Don't bother checking those, it's my black history and this pack is formed by models that reach the standard of 'good enough to release to the public'.

    And that's about it. There's still the model of Spring I made in the pack that I think is probably the worst out of them all because of the texturing but ice is cool so meh I let em in
    So yeah that concludes my presentation of a miserable resource pack that I don't even know if I want to constantly update on

    yes but only when i have some inspiration on the stuff i wanna make or theyre gonna look dogshit
    which means that its either that im gonna push out a lotta stuff at once or like once a month
    not consistent anyways
    idk about the inferno

    Ahhhhhhhh THEY LOOK SO GOOD. Although yeah I do think that inferno would look better if it was flipped, seems a bit impractical to swing it like that, you might stab yourself.

    it was intended to be like an actual dagger and you stab stuff instead of it stabbing you

    I did a cataclysm model, it was just made before I learnt texturing which means that it looks stink
    the model is also lookin real simple so i will probably revamp em

    So... you've never used an actual dagger have you? Hate to say this, but holding one like that is competely fictional.
    If you want it to be more like an actual dagger, then flip it. Also yeah I think it would look better.

    well yeah I haven't used one. I've not encountered any situation where I need to use one, and it's not like I have one anyways. I did it under my impression of daggers.

    Also, as another person who is untrained in daggers, I think it is unlikely that it would never be reasonable to hold a dagger like that. Example, stabbing someone prone - it would be pretty awkward and ineffective to twist your wrist 180 degrees to get the pointy part of the dagger facing down in actual combat. On top of that, Wynncraft is fictional alongside all of those other fictional books and movies etc that have a dagger facing like that, and it looks cool, so yeah.
    Using a dagger like that is probably (again, I'm not yet trained with using daggers as a weapon) a rookie way to use a dagger, but it would be more effective for a rookie than trying to lance with it like a rapier. Not that any character that can use Inferno is a rookie dagger-user, but the swing animation also looks more viable with the dagger facing backwards - think about it, is it more effective to slash someone's chest with a dagger or impale their neck?
    I actually am curious about how using daggers in real life works (so that I can use daggers in real life), so if you have experience...

    Depends on the type of dagger. On the type of dagger that inferno is, reverse grip would be very ineffective. Of course, if you have one of those weird dagger-gun hybrids, you'll be better off just pulling the trigger.

    ok very sick post, time to add another resource pack to my collection. but HOW do you compile them?? i have some models but idk how to make the folder part ;-;

    Yeah I can see that, more meant for slashing than stabbing with the longer, thinner blade, and you'd want to maximize the burn area from the fire, making a slash more effective simply because of the gimmick of it being on fire. I think it's safe to assume it doesn't have any mode of projectile propulsion because assassin's only ranged attack is smoke bomb, which is 1. magical and 2. probably thrown by hand if not conjured with active velocity. It would also be pretty bad for basically any of Assassin's spells except backstab, in which case you could still maintain a reasonable distance to gouge with a regular grip, so it doesn't actually offer an advantage.
    Yeah, it should probably be flipped to regular grip.

    its... quite complicated
    well first create a folder (ofc)
    then create another folder called assets inside the one said above along with a pack.txt and pack.png (pack.png is basically the logo of your resource pack)
    write down the version and description for the pack in pack.txt
    save pack.txt and rename it to pack.mcmeta
    go into the assets folder and make another folder called minecraft
    go into the minecraft folder and make folders named mcpatcher (for optifine cit usage), models and textures
    create a folder called cit in the mcpatcher folder, and put the .properties stuff inside the cit folder
    create a folder called item in the models folder, and put the .properties stuff and .json thingies inside
    create 2 folders called item and anim respectively in the textures folder, item is for normal textures and anim is for sprite sheets and the respective .mcmeta (s) for the sheets
    thats what i did in my pack
