Which is better, Skyblock or Wynncraft?

im sorry but when does skyblock ever have a balanced economy, there is always a dupe, bz/ah closing.

also they milk 1 content for hundreds if not thousands of hours instead of adding more content(even if they do add, when would it ever be balanced apon release even after using alpha for tests).

these both games have different audiences. no-lifers can either play skyblock or do profs in wynn, while for a casual player, wynncraft is better. these games are different.
( i do like to see these controversial threads once a month though)

Yeah but I meant like for the sake of the poll the playerbase doesn’t matter bc sb players aren’t gonna vote for sb 9 times out of 10

I'd say that more people like sb than wynncraft

then yeah this would be a fair poll
but as is
you're almost certain to get more answers that are pro-sb cause there are more people that are pro-sb
I'm curious as to what the arguments for sb over wynncraft are tho - sb just seems to kinda suck

hardly any of the skyhblock community plays skyblock for fun. They either play it because: a. their friends play and it's fun to play with their friends b. spent too much time playing on it (couldnt be me) and can't/won't give up their progress c. they actually like the game d. they have nothing better to do

 

I love that even the hypixel thread results say Wynn is better.

I wonder how many of those votes are from people who saw this thread and voted Wynn there.

 

They are both entirely different games, there are little to no quests and most quests in skyblock are just gathering quests although there is a huge progression system with skyblock (which is the worst thing in existence since you just go around clicking on mobs for 2 years). With wynncraft the game is just all quests and some exploration, although just like almost every other game wynncraft becomes boring at end game since the only thing to do is loot running or warring

There really is not much complexity to skyblock or even hypixel in general, although back 5 years ago hypixel was the server to play on since most of the stuff such as texture packs and gamemodes were completely new to Minecraft.

 

b is so true for me it is too hard to give up my 1300 hours progression(with stupid sf ,3/4 necron and tara helm lol),although i have lost like 150mil to scam/bug/stupid mistake

 

Literally same thing here. 1600 hours of playtime. Gs, 3/4 necron and aots. lost over 100mil to scams and my coop all stopped playing. im rich but i have no one to have fun with on skyblock. i just log on to give random ppl coins once in a while .-.

 

As someone who has 7.6k hours playtime on skyblock, I can confidently say that wynncraft is by miles better.
Skyblocks economy is absolutely in shambles. I can‘t even begin to think of a word that explains skyblocks economy.
The cheaters are absolutely ridiculous and more than half the endgame community uses some hard cheats.

The only better things about skyblock is the endgame in my opinion. The only endgame activities in wynn are raids, lootrunning, warring and profs (ew) which im not that big of a fan of.

Also skyblock has a bigger community which brings tons of pros as well, like faster item selling / more turbulent markets.

Imo people should try both. It‘s also inportant to note that most endgame players develope some immense hate towards skyblock due to the admins neglect update wise / playerbase wise and because of how buggy it is. (Literally every tiny hotfix adds some gamebreaking shit that wipes you away lol)

 

Of course the wynncraft forum is going to say wynn is better and skyblock forum will say skyblock is better

Wow, I checked back there and learned 3 things
A. Damn, even people on HSB are voting for Wynn. I wonder how much overlap there actually is between HSB and Wynn players for that to be the case
B. My username there is still Slimeonatree57, and I'm only now realizing how much of an innuendo that is. Also, my PFP there is still the cute Mimikyu pic that Anbu made for me way back when
C. I was actually a somewhat active over there in 2016. And judging by the posts I made, I think I should just burn that account.
