am I the only one getting the right click glitch?

I have filled out a bug report.

I often have right click start registering as left. I play on a laptop with a docking station, so using a separate mouse. When it happens, I can reach over to the trackpad and tap with two fingers (right click semantic) and it also registers as left. Different hardware with completely different drivers. I can switch to another application, like the browser, and right click registers correctly to bring up a popup menu. It isn't hardware. Disconnecting and reconnecting fixes it. It happens in multiple MC versions; I have tried 4. Also, it will sometimes clear up. I am an archer using fast and faster bows, so lots of right clicking. I usually notice it because LLL is escape, which will suddenly happen out of the blue while shooting. Makes it less of a problem as I can usually do just that - escape - and fight a safe place to disconnect and reconnect. It is infrequent, but an annoyance.

 

So far this nvr happened to me b4 but do you use a programmable gaming mouse or just a normal mouse? There's a certain mouse could be programmed to be different in certain application or software and you can accidentally "programmed" it. If you used a normal mouse then it might just be a bug :P

 

Normal and as I said, I get the same results with different hardware (trackpad) and it works fine if I switch applications at the time it is glitching. I get the right click menu in the browser, for example. The I switch back to wynncraft and it is still registering R as L.

 

Welp I don't have any idea left. The "program" might be from your minecraft launcher but you said every version is affected so it might really be a bug. Try test the clicking in your survival world to check if it can affect your survival world too or just servers

 

One other thing that may play into it is that I am often connected a very long time. I will leave it next to the market and check it every now and then, looking for upgrades at reasonable prices. Sell desirable items at or below the suggested prices when I upgrade or find something nice I can't use and it appears others do as well, but you have to see them and jump on them, sometimes reselling and eating the tax if it actually doesn't work out. I have two fabled items in my build that cost me about 1200 each (stealth gloat). I see them go for a *lot* more sometimes. Anyway, back on track, it could be that long connection times and/or periods of inactivity play into it.

Only wynncraft, not my local survival world, RPG games I have downloaded, family java realm or other servers that I have noticed.

 

Yup definitely a bug

 

I do not have to run the launcher again, just disconnect and connect.
