Fav assassin archetype?

acrobat is kinda weak but who cares its so much fun to fly around and not getting hit is cool aswell

Acrobat literally flies. You get rewarded for literally just flying around. What’s not to like?

I LOVE acrobat, might be "low" dmg, but the aoe and the safety is incredible!

Bit of a difference when you can glide through the air 20 blocks high and kill everthing underneath you in the process.
And no, clone makes it worse dmg wise and you get all the attention from mobs 'cause of lure

I was primarely talking in context of using the normal full archetype and not any hybrids

 

Shadestepper - Using Nirvana bricks it so I can't really tell you much about it.

Trickster - Fun, but overall combat power rather on the lower side, still enough to solo EO and LI. It very much relies on keeeping your clones alive. Having high HPR/Sustain in your build is a must, there is no other way to defend yourself. Sandbagging is "unreliable" at best.
I'd also like to mention how bosses like Death Metal are COMPLETELY BUSTED against it. One bullet barrage and all of your 6 clones are gone, now good luck defeating that guy without dying.
As Trickster, the new knockback mechanics make it BY FAR the hardest boss in LI, beating Dr. Legendary, Orange Cybel and even The Eye from EO by leaps and bouds in terms of difficulty.

Acrobat - Very Fun, but it's DPS is "mediocre" at best. Without using 2+ Mythics, the DPS is pretty much hard capped at 20-30K if you don't want to get oneshot all the time. Flying is nice, but the archetype still feels like a complete joke compared to a baisc morph ritualist shaman, even when using Nirvana. Still, it's what I currently use and making Death Metal suffer for what he did to my Trickster feels very satisfying.
