Well I'm assuming "eggs" (not normal grook eggs ofc) spawn dangerous and important creatures. For example, the dernic mites which are assumed to spawn from eggs made by the dark parasite: "creating its nest, from where spawns Dernmites: small Dark bugs that travel across Northern Gavel, leeching off of the Light in the area and turning the environment into a gloomy, dark version of its former self. This is the true nature of the Decay." - https://wynncraft.fandom.com/wiki/War_of_the_Realms or Hatchlings (found near the Hive that spawn from Dark Hives (basically eggs)). Another example is Ozoth's egg. We know that Ozoth is a very strong dragon which has the power to destroy Thanos. Therefore we can assume her egg will probably be more powerful than her. Now we know that Wynncraft's "eggs" are bound to hatch creatures that are important or dangerous.

There are 2 item eggs in game right now (not including ingredients). One is the Mysterious Egg which you get from the Dark Forest Ultimate Secret Discovery.
The other one is is the egg you get in the Skyraider's Base.

If we link these eggs to the War of the Realms and it's portals (The War/Corruption/Decay Portal, The Light Portal (Nol and Tree of Light) and the Portal to Dern) and ignore the lesser eggs (Ozoth's and Dark Hives), I believe we can assume that each one of the special egg is linked to a certain portal/realm. So the Mysterious Egg could be linked to the Dern Portal or War Portal and the Skyraider egg could be linked to the Light portal or War portal. The changes in Aldorei's Secret II also reveals lore about War of the Realms which makes me believe in the future these eggs will be every important.

(idk and am not sure abt any of these things. i just want le. this is also a personal opinion so it could be very wrong)

What are the other four

 

~ the dark forest discovery one (probably the best known one)
~ the llevigar ult one
~ ice canyon frozen egg
~ the hidden sarnfic frozen/lava pool egg


The last three are all supposedly related. The one in the llevigar ult was maintained between 1.19 and 1.20 when the room it was in was made into the start of the llevigar plains ultimate discovery, meaning that it is at least not just a relic of old CT stuff that they’re discontinuing.
