How are you supposed to grind the Temple of Legends?

I just hit level 68 on my assassin after the update and I find that staying in the training area for more than a few seconds leads to near instant death, and the mobs in there are too tanky to instakill and leave. I feel like in general areas are more dangerous and the game is a lot harder than before I came back to wynncraft (I think this is a good thing overall). So how do I grind this at my level?

Your first mistake was playing assassin

 

I had the same problem on my Shaman. Try grinding to level ~75 at herb cave, get better gear, then you can start to grind ToL efficiently.

 

In 1.18 (I think) the devs decided to kill the old grind spots for shits and giggles.

 

yeah its not worth to grind Tol anymore, just do herb/mimic cave
