Can't heal friends with mage class anymore?

Hi! I think this is my first actual forum post. I've been playing with my friend for a year and a half now & we always do everything together. I play mage & they play assassin. After the 2.0 update I'm not able to heal them anymore? Which is how we've been playing the entire time. I did add the heal ability in the ability tree & I've done a couple heal upgrades, but it seems like I still can't heal them [even if I'm directly on top of them] which is super frustrating. I checked & it didn't seem like any of the abilities actively hinder me from healing them but I guess if I missed that I'd also like to know.

 

Hello there! Please check the ability and see if you changed any ability that directly impacts heal spell. Specifically something named Arcane Transfer (idk i dont play anymore)

Additionally, if they are in Hunted (no direct relation) or Ironman gamemode, they cannot receive buffs from nearby players.

 

YES okay it was arcane transfer. i checked it before but didnt notice what it said about healing somehow even though i read it like. four times.

 

lul it's fine i've seen other people have the same issue here, usually due to that

 

If you are looking for a support mage I highly recommend lightbender as it has the strongest healing and still does good damage with the right build,

 

this, lightbender though have relatively lower damage overall, it is a super good support archetype and, in addition to that, deals decent damage with the orbs and stuffs
