    The title says it all.
    I enjoyed the changes, but many people also seemed to dislike the changes, which led me to be curious about the average opinions for the update.

    the only thing I really, really hate about the new update are the teleport changes, otherwise I think it's a good update.

    they took a year to change some quests and made a spell change

    like hello the spells arent even that balanced and its overall just a qol update imo?

    IMO one of the best updates yet, the new archetypes are so much fun. they made shaman fun! shaman!
    ofc there are also 3 amazing new additions
    TNA (cause g r e g), le big fishe and rat

    I personally spent 8 months eating chips staring at my code to make the update take longer.

    I love this update. The new spells system means that every playthrough can feel unique now, not just spamming meteor as mage, aura as shaman etc. It affects endgame, mid game, early game and suits so many playstyles.
    The new quests and builds are great, the new dungeon and forgery pity system are fantastic too!
    Profs got some small QoL, as did lots of other bits.
    The new raid is brilliant fun and REALLY needs good teamwork.

    All in all, a great update! I voted 9/10.
    The only reason I didn't vote 10/10 is because a couple of parts of the game felt ignored or not taken into consideration (some of them after years of needing some attention)
    These things are: Nexus of Light being made redundant by TNA. Lootrunning still not being addressed or balances around it being made to help the meta surrounding it (I guess forgery pity helps ig?). One or two quests being remade, but feeling a bit lack-luster (Hunger of the Gerts Part 2 being very short and not wrapping the story up and General's Orders losing it's fun climax)
    Other than that, not much to complain about!

    Be careful what you say, considering how much shit each update catches I genuinely think there are people here who would offer you all the chips in the world if it meant less updates...

    I mean theres quite a lot of other stuff scattered around, such as map changes and the raid. Quests take a while as well.

    10/10 but -1 for no TP downward and another -1 for instant heal gone for even lightbender.

    imo Divination (more ophanim but less dmg per them) should changed to Instant regeneration, that makes heal instant but heals less (-5%hp on heal and pulses) and make it optional to get sunflare(11 lightbender req instead currunt 12)

    tfw I'd say the biggest thing they did is the raid and even then I don't imagine it takes so long to create one

    We took a break before starting on 2.0 after doing 1.20
    We created Script 2 and everything that was not comparable because it used Script would then have to be updated
    We reworked every quest in gavel that was not touched in 1.20
    We added a new raid that did not just use the templates of the previous raids
    And god knows what else we were working on for updates coming after 2.0.

    New quests and changes to quests take actual months, not to mention we have to then run it through testing and then fix bugs and then run it through again and fix more bugs.

    9/10. Combat rework is great, great quest and town reworks. The shard system is AWFUL though.

    its that our quality has gotten much higher. Gavel, although humongous, wasn't as hard to make back then as it would be today. We have a much higher bar for quality and we can't just make our quests "walk from point A to B and then grab an item and then do parkour and then you're done" anymore, and we can't make our builds look like... pigman ravines :angry:.

    tho yeah I see planning em out can often be time-consuming, still feel like it's a lil too much for a few quests to be added though, of course I'm not even sure how many GMs are really available at the moment and dunno when the new scripting system's out
