why such long queue

hi i have taken quite the long break and have come back to 1400 long queue and was stuck in the lobby for 9 hours then had to log off can someone explain to me why this is happen

 

Hello, as you maybe already know, just yesterday was released the new Wynncraft 2.0 update. Many people were looking forward to it, so that's why the playercount was so high during release day and they added a queue so people could wait in line to get into the server.
If you play today you shouldn't have as many issues, I myself haven't encountered the queue while playing today

No problem, but I also wanted to mention that it also seems like there are some connection issues going on today in the server
Hopefully this will get resolved soon
