Shopping can have interesting things attached to it depending on what you’re trying to get.
I’m lazy so mundane stuff doesn’t need rp, but if you want special trinkets or magic/magitech stuff we can rp

 

Browsing some magic items sounds cool! For no rp I’ll just buy priest stuff, rations, a sleeping bag, and lamp. For rp stuff what is around town?

The markets in Sylvia sell everything from across Aer. You can tell most of these vendors must be part of this Sia Guild you’ve heard of, as they have off-continent goods, but not many of them seem like hardcore travelers. You’ve not really interacted with magitech so it’s a bit foreign to you (magitech doesn’t originate from Aylvian Sylvia either), but the magical items catch your eye. In the market you see (read spoiler):

A small diamond hairclip emanates a large amount of Eonic power despite its small size [Snowflake] (500 gp). A large crystal bow almost seems to whisper to passersby as it glows with a radiant blue light [Verglas Velkhana] (25,000 gp). A coat made of pure white is displayed hanging from a hook as magical snow drifts downwards from it [Cloak of Snow] (200 gp).

 

I would like to ask more about [Snowflake] and [Cloak of Snow]

Actually, I should have asked this on the forum but how old are your characters? You can just give it in terms of irl human years and ill adjust it for the lifespan of elves.

Let’s do the math. (Backstory time)

Frost was exiled while we was still under the legal guardianship of his adopted parents. In human years this would put him less than 18. Ima say 15 years old when he and Whisper were exiled. (Also according to my backstory Whisper is my adopted sister). Frost and whisper then spent an unknown amount of time in between exile and being picked up by Eon. Ima say one year. Then we have Frost’s training as a priest. I’ll put that as 2 years (Now we are 18). Then we have some time climbing up the ranks. Sooo…

I’ll be 21 and Whisper will be 19.

Basically Whisper (my sister) collapsed. Tense moment, ready spells, time warp because you weren’t there (supposed to be some rp there), queen explains she just wanted this family feud to be over, I a tell the Dragonborn I will go with him, que shopping montage.

 

I dont know what the age of an amalgamation of corpses should be but Im just gonna go with the age of the person I took the appearance of so around 22

The man selling the cloak of snow is a short halfling with bright red hair that matches his long beard. Dressed in green clothes, he reminds you of the leprechauns that you’ve read of in stories
“About the cloak? Well, it wasn’t too long ago I had it identified. I’ll go fetch the receipt he gave me.”
The halfling hurries into the back of the stand as you hear faint sounds of rummaging and an “ah ha!” as the halfing comes back out. He takes another sheet of paper out and a magic quill and begins transcribing the original paper’s contents. He hands you the paper which reads in messy handwriting, “When your hood is up, difficult terrain caused by ice or snow does not affect you. When you put the robe on, it flares brilliantly with white light, blinding all creatures in a 10-foot radius of the item and causing snow to fall around you for 6 seconds. Using the command word and one of the 5 charges, you can cause the same snow to fall around you for 6 seconds. This obscured area slightly hides you from your surroundings, but does not impair the wearer’s vision.”

 

So kinda useless to a priest of Eon?

You don the armor, and immediately you feel your magical power increase. You feel nimbler, quicker, more powerful past even what you once were. You speak the command word give to you by the auctioneer, and two angelic wings made of pure light unfurl from you back.
(OOC2 gonna put a list of spells from dnd, the armor doesn't exactly give you those spells, but more of similar abilities
Gust, Light, Fly, Magic Missile [but radiant energy], Sacred Flame, Guiding Bolt, etc.
You can warp these for rp purposes if you want)

its not a useless item, ive just taken out all of the technical text from my dnd item and turned them into an in-game description instead of saying "oh look you have advantage on dexterity saving throws" or whatever, which doesn't make sense for an in-game wizard to identify from an item
ill add the actual description if you want it

 

But like a priest of Eon who has control over ice and can summon/dismiss ice… Seems like something I can already do.
