The Second EVER Warrior HIC Completion!!

Hello, it is I, Crouton_18, Leader of the Warrior Cult.

I am now the second person other than @Linnyflower to have completed Warrior HIC

I did Legendary Island first, as I've gotten good at it from grinding for a Legendary Medallion (28/64) and figured it'd be pretty easy. I was right. I didn't really struggle at all even with Death Metal who is the greatest danger to me usually.
I then attempted EO solo, tanked a Wretch like the awesome and tanky Warrior I am, and then scrolled out because I was at 2k max hp (dura :doom:) I later had a few people carry me becuase yes
AHC was next, and I completed that easily only going below half hp once.
We did NoL and TCC in the same session, doing both pretty quickly with few complications other than that one bug that Wretches your hp during TCC bossfight.

I specifically built this with spellspam in mind. Warrior needs a much higher mana regen to work well and so the 12 mr was designed to allow for that (though I did need mr consus in LI, EO and AHC)
It was especially useful for flying around completing mini quests and discoveries later on.

Shoutout to @zzZane and @Jackywacky666 who I encountered in Cinfras playing HIC.

How long did this take? 160 hours
How many times did I almost die? around 15
How many attempts did this take? a grand total of 3 attempts. The other 2 never made it past 40. This was my first actual serious attempt.
Did you practice? Kind of: I leveled an Ironman, got used to minimal inventory space. Then I leveled a Hardcore Ironman (to 103, still alive) to get used to not dying. That worked apparently as this is my first attempt after that HI class.
Do you regret your decisions? No. This was overall very fun and very rewarding. The longest (feeling) grind was for an Obelisk Core for my endgame build.

Looking forwards to my next challenge: 2.0 Warrior ETW Fallen HIC

my brian is a mess rn because I'm operating off 4 hours of sleep. if this seems choppy and oddly phrased blame my lack of sleep

also, the reason I didnt record LI, EO, AHC and NoL/TCC was because my computer kinda dooky. It runs at around 12fps on average and running OBS in the backround causes it to freeze sometimes which is something you dont want happening on HIC.

Have you gotten Ritual Catalysts yet, or do you not need them anymore.

 

I've gotten around 6 during the playthrough. I do not need them

 

are you going to do tna when 2.0 releases?

 

Most likely yes. Though it will be a few months after to make sure there aren't any instakill bugs
