What is the darkest quest in Wynncraft?

The Hidden City probably because like holy shit you're just told to stalk this dude and then he talks about how he is a social outcast due to racism who yearns to be accepted and then you just fucking kill him by sabotaging his ship

 

Tbh you only interact with aledar in the tutorial and AJB and AJF

 

I’d say King’s Recruit is the darkest because it heralds the player’s arrival in the province.

 

Forbidden prison is quite dark and brutal

It’s hard to pick- definitely AJB and AJF and Memory Paranoia (I know I voted one more but I can’t remember which one DAMN IT)
But a good question would be which quest made you yourself so sad and devastated. For me, that was the Hero of Gavel. I got Siegfried killed in the room where you’ve gotta cut all the webs within a time-limit to proceed. My computer was lagging, for some reason my brightness was at Moody but I couldn't fix it anytime, I was at 2 potions five levels below my own and suspended in a web, slowly sinking down while a whole spider colony waited below when the screen told me in big, blood-red letters; SIEGFRIED HAS DIED.
Then for some reason I was hit by a flood of devastation about why anyone was even trying anymore, how the Corruption and the Decay are unbeatable and we’re all doomed, blah blah blah..

Okay, writing this now it’s pretty stupid but there’s my tale of woe for ya. Enjoy.

Hollow Serenity

ROL 3 is pretty underrated imo. Especially, the scene where Dullahan kills everyone and the hallway scene where there's blood everywhere and a body on the ceiling. The secret discovery in dulla's castle is also pretty dark.

 

hunger of gerts 2 could also stand to be on here

 

an Iron Heart is the darkest by far for me.

Flesh and Metal combined to trap people eternally in the form of Guard Golems without a free will/without the ability to express themselves and tell others that they are in there. Eternally feeling nothing but cold.

Both journeys are pretty dark, hollow serenity just sounds deadly from its name but a grave mistake is the only one that actually scared me, me amd my friend played it at night and my friend even played a creepy song (he was listening to In My Head, not actuslly scary but the music is) trying to do it on his own, like it was terrifying. havent done PONR or AHC yet because my first playthrough was rushed and I want to relive the lore on another playthrough.

oh and funny honorable mention: Studying the Corrupt. you know the part where he gets pushed and comes back bloody and corrupted, for some reason that scared me, maybe it was because it was night lol

If you decide to tell Eileen that her daughter is, in fact, suffering (the truth), she will proceed to kill every single NPC in the forest village, who is ultimately innocent and unknowing to the atrocities that their ancestors committed. If you lie to her, these NPCs can continue to be talked with, but if she kills them, you are left with their mutilated corpses strewn around the village.

The ultimate fate of Eileen is revealed in Ways of The Wicked wherein you discover that the Dernmite that had burrowed into her skull had matured and left, eating its way out from the inside of her head, leaving a gaping cavity on her corpse instead of a face.

Very dark quest !!

 

Tower of ascension, after doing it on a ETW level 45 Archer it still scares me

 

What about poisoning the pest. A man literally asks you to kill his dead father rather than trying to cure him like wtf

 

of course, he should have made the famous cure for death.
