Whatare the chances of Wynncraft being created in Hytale after the game releases?

Just a bit curious

 

Not gonna happen. hytale doesnt/isnt gonna have some sort of export button that puts minecraft worlds into hytale ones. Not only that, wynncraft has its own programs and stuff that cant just go into an entirely different game.

 

I imagined it being recreated instead of transferred but i agree with you nonetheless. It would definitely be to much work for the devs.

 

So many years of creation have led to where we are that porting it all would be not only impossible, but not very profitable. HyTale has no set future and while it looks promising, I don't think it'll replace Minecraft as a whole.

Will recreations be made? Certainly. Will they be official? Almost definitely not

Extremely unlikely. I can envision people recreating towns or classes in hytale as fan projects but that's it.

 

Do not presume it will ever release

 

While it may sound pessimistic, I kinda agree. It was delayed from 2021 to 2023, then it was delayed from 2023 to 2024+, and the odds are that even if it isn't delayed again, what we'll get in 2024/2025 will be a very unfinished beta. I genuinely think that Hytale could be great when it's finished and had a solid amount of feedback, but I feel like it's 4-5 years away until we're there.

 

I doubt Hytale's BETA will release in a very unfinished state. The entire reason that the development is taking so long is because the dev team are perfectionists and they want to have a good first impression for the millions of people who got hyped from their initial trailer.

Btw, after the first delay, 2023 was their earliest estimated release date. But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back for a few more years as well.

 

I agree, but to clarify, when I said a very unfinished beta, I mean that there was so much promised in the trailer that I doubt there will be everything (and also, the point of a beta it that it's unfinished tbf)

 

We'll just have to wait and see, I guess. There's not much to go off of because the info we get is pretty limited.

Anyway, I'm guessing their BETA is more or less going to be focused around bug fixes and minor balance tweaks or QoL changes instead of adding a bunch of previously unfinished content.
