Savior Sacrifice Question

Is the 30% damage buff that is recieved from savior sacrifice a completely different damage multiplier? Or does it add to an existing multiplier?

 

30%* also p sure stackable 1 or something like that?

 

In live it's 30% damage buff (I know in game it says 50%, but in actuality it's only 30%). It works like a potion effect so it's multiplicative and will cancel all other potion effects (like war scream buff)
(You can literally think of how it affects your dps as damage*1.3)

In 2.0 (the spellbound update) it will stack with other multipliers (supposedly)

Saviour's also applies to the user if you didn't know. Wynn wording is kinda :doom:

 

If saviors sacrifice cancels out other strength buffs, does that mean that if im an assassin and im near a hero warrior under 50% hp, will the strength buff I get from vanish of 80% be replaced by 30%?


I remember I was testing the buff with a hero warrior and I was assassin and I remember doing more damage than normal though the hero was also attacking and I wasnt paying attention much.

 

Yes. (Though I do not know the refresh rate of vanish's strength buff or if it has one. If vanish's strength buff refreshes there would be times where you alternated between buffs. Ssac refreshes very frequently though, like once a second, so I'd put my money on you not being able to use vanish buff). In spellbound you will be able to receive all assassin damage buffs and all warrior buffs at the same time.

That makes sense, depending on the build Hero dishes out some serious damage. Even with a tanky build, the hero user was probably dishing out like 20k uppercuts or more, and if courage/curse was involved it would ramp both of your dps up to the nth degree.

 

Yea me and my friends tested this and savior sacrifices 30% buff overrides vanish 80% buff. So in fact saviors sacrifice actually nerfs assassin's overall dps assuming its using a spell build. If its true that this is changing in 2.0, it completely explains why hero has suddenly spiked in price (plus the fallen archetype).

 

(the reason hero spiked is cause of fallen not that but i suppose)
