I made a similar thread before we learned all the archytypes, and it came out that Mage was the favorite of the choices (thread is here)

However, now that we know how each Archytype functions, lets do the cooler version.

Which Archytype would you choose IRL?
I had to use strawpoll because the forums limit you to 10 possible responses

maybe let's think what is the most legal archetype, instead of most useful
e.g. being trapper will get you in prison for putting mines everywhere

You get fatally wounded? Not anymore. See a friend who's super under the weather? They can easily run a marathon less than two seconds later. Getting beaten up by some random guys on the street? Ophanim will obliterate them (maybe).

The only way you can die with Light Bender is if you run out of mana (which doesn't matter if you're big brain) or get tactically nuked in one shot.

Except(based of how they work in game) your clones will copy your actions and stay near you. I think a better option is summoner: you have way more helpers, they follow your orders, you don't see clones of yourself.

I think that the best archetype IRL for each class would depend on whether other people count as players or as NPCs. For the purposes of this argument I’m going to assume that friendly people count as players, but that animals and hostile people count as NPCs. I’m also going to assume that, like Wynn, spells and melee attacks don’t affect the environment, because otherwise the property damage tied to any of these archetypes would be immense. Finally, we’re also going to ignore the fact that you have magic, and instead look at what each archetype would give you, because realistically every archetype would make you filthy rich just by virtue of being able to defy the laws of reality.
Anyways, here are my picks for the best archetype for each class.

Archer: Probably trapper. Guardian Bows on Boltslinger is a pet murder case waiting to happen and Windy Feet will get you caught up in a Doping scandal if you use it in sports, while Sharpshooter is basically just a shitty sniper whose max range is shorter than most guns today. With Trapper, meanwhile, you at least get an immortal guard dog you don’t have to feed, and could probably get a job of some sort laying down non-permanent mines in a warzone. You also get a grappling hook.

    Assassin
: Probably Acrobat, though you’d really need to make sure that your Jasmine bloom doesn’t accidentally hurt/kill someone or their pets (or alternatively just don’t take it). You’d still get the ability to fly as well as generally really good parkour skills and could probably get a job as a stuntman, or as a last resort option for hostage situations or fights within buildings (since you can just get dropped onto the roof of one and take out all hostiles with Jasmine Bloom through the ceiling). Trickster is a contender just for the sheer mass production capabilities, though if the clones just mimic movements (IE. Moving your arm up) and not actions (IE. If you pick up a knife your clones all get one), you’d need to set up 7 identical workstations at the exact right positions, and then never turn your head.

Mage: Lightbender. No contest. You could basically completely take over the jobs of an entire ER wing at a major city, along with being able to instantly cure diseases like cancer assuming they count as a debuff (which they probably do), and even things like blindness which count as debuffs. You’d very quickly become one of the richest people in the world.

Warrior: probably Paladin, just for the ability to never die. Unless something kills you twice within 10 minutes.

…at the same time, though, it never says you stop aging. There’s a horrifying possibility that you could end up in a loop where you age forever, continually dying every 10 minutes while the healing from Second Chance and Rejuv Skin and damage resistance from Brink of Madness and the 5% DR passives keep you from dying any faster, all while being too weak to kill yourself. Fun!

Shaman: oof, this one is tough. I’d say Summoner, because triple totem regeneration would allow you to heal injuries light an off brand lightbender and the effigies could maybe help you push things, but you’d absolutely need to make sure your puppets don’t kill any pets. Ritualist is also a contender just for the speed boost from Mask of the Coward and defensive capabilities from Fanatic, but you’d need to never summon the totem with Fanatic active or it will start seeking out animals to murder.

Overall, I think Lightbender is by far the best option. All the other archetypes leave you with varying degrees of either doing the same thing you’re already doing with more collateral damage in the form of dead pets, or just give you free entry into a job that you’d be decently well off in but not rich. Lightbender, on the other hand, is ridiculously invaluable.
