Class Deletion Wait Time

Why does it take 40 days for a level 105 class to delete? What is this trying to accomplish? It won't take me 40 days to figure out that maybe I'd like to stop deleting it, maybe like, a week at most or something. Is it trying to get us to buy a rank for more class slots? Like, 40 days is so excessive. They're literally stopping people (me) from playing the game this way, if they want to start over with all new classes.

 

Honestly, this should be under General Suggestions - this is a stupid feature that needs fixing

here's my slightly unhinged rant on this issue

 

Yeah I have no idea why insta class deletion is a Champion exclusive feature (I believe it's just Champion), especially when non-rank players have fewer class slots

 

One reason could be/is if your account gets hacked and the hacker starts deleting your classes, you're going to have plenty of time to recover your account along with your classes.

 

This sounds like a rare occasion though, and one that doesn't seem worth accounting for, especially 40 days.
Who would hack into someone's account and then decide to delete classes? Like, perhaps it could happen, but only like one time here and there. 40 days is a bit excessive to get access to your account back, since it won't take long to change your password. The longest time getting hold of any kind of support would only take like, a week or two.
And it'd be on such a rare occasion that it doesn't really hold much worth to go to extreme measures to get this accounted for. If they really wanted to protect accounts, just give everybody back-ups. (Okay thay probably costs a lot of money and storage space but so does keeping these classes around for 40 days, or having this feature in the game. Just replace it with back-ups or something instead of restricting it to Champion.)

Plus, if the hacker throws out all your items but keeps your classes, that is essentially the same thing as them deleting the class

 

Oh yeah that's a good point to bring up too. Why would the deletion timer exist to help you recover your account and classes if a hacker could just, throw everything out?

So my point still stands: Why does it take 40 days to delete a level 105 class? ;-;

 

so that they get more income from players buying champion rank

 

This was a thing before Champion though.
