    I'd say basic attack without upgrades would have like 4-6 blocks range.
    With upgrades maybe like 10-16

    Yeah, probably, and if it’s a cone probably like a 4-block range up to maybe 8 with both proficiency upgrades
    At the same time
    I imagine that smacking the corrupter of worlds in the face with a dictionary would deal some decent damage

    ok, but which archetype would have specific functions (e.g. is it like Scion (support, crowd control) , Planeshifter (tricks, versatility) , Atoned (buffs damage) or what)

    Scion gets damage buffs, Planeshifter is mobility and trick-based, and Atoned has high crowd control abilities and some healing

    Scion doesn't really seem like a fitting term, so...

    Apprentice: Can deal massive damage by using buffs (Damage, Buffs)
    Planeshifter: Can shift and bend reality, confusing foes (Mobility, Tricks)
    Atoned: Can provide healing and take on massive forces (CC, Support)

    Does this look good?

    When i had it as dark/space/light, dark was going to be single-target damage and aoe/group damage buffs, space was going to have really powerful abilities only useable under certain circumstances, and light was going to be healing focused except that a trigger would cause it to "decay" and deal really high damage at the cost of not being able to heal for a short time

    Honestly, I still prefer Scion over Apprentice as those two words essentially mean the same thing, with an increased sense of “power” on Scion’s side.
    And I can personally design Planeshifter as I have some really interesting ideas for how it’s going to work. To say the least, it will not be riftwalker

    Have you looked up “define scion”? Because it says
    1.
    a young shoot or twig of a plant, especially one cut for grafting or rooting.
    2.
    a descendant of a notable family.

    I also checked, and yeah, several dictionaries agree on these definitions.

    But I definitely thought “scion” meant “powerful follower/servant” for a long time

    Definition 1 is kind of what I want for this class, yes, this archetype does incorporate some “powerful follower” elements, but the way I’m seeing it, Scions are metaphorical offshoots of their Dark patrons that were grafted off to find a new purpose

    DEVLOG #1

    Hey everyone, sorry for being radio silent recently. I've mostly been working on the archetypes and making some QoL and visual changes to most of the abilities.
    I haven't been doing much work on the bosses, but that's because I've been getting the foundation (archetypes & abilities) done before the house (bosses & content)
    If you'd like to be surprised by what you see when you first join, please do not click into the spoilers, as they spoil parts of the new content.

    And, please keep in mind what you see may be treed.
    I am constantly changing how the Ability Tree & it's abilities work, and same with some of the other stuff shown here.

    With that out of the way,
    When we initially launch, we hope to have all of the following:
    - All 15 Archetypes ready to play
    - 2 bosses: One obsessed with space, and one super difficult.
    - Lots of unique builds & content for everybody to enjoy.
    - An open field area, with varying terrain, for you to test your abilities in.
    - Possibly more, if we get around to it.
    Keep in mind this is for an initial release. There will be updates providing more content, including a full raid for the second boss, and some more bosses I will keep secret for now.
    If the Entity Limit allows me to, I will attempt to code in a grind spot.
    Ever since I got people to help build, the old spawn seen in the start of the old clip looked... dead and lifeless. Very boring. So, they built a new spawn that's much more enjoyable!

    Fun fact, this is actually styled around the TNA boss. I won't be going into too much detail of this, due to the fact that it's still due for changes, especially by that sign in the back there.

    I updated Bash and Uppercut to have more accurate hitboxes, but they're not as garbage as they are on the real 2.0.
    I also upgraded their visuals!

    When we officially make this project public, I plan to overhaul this thread to be way neater, and move Devlogs to either a seperate thread or blogging site.

    I thought the ability tree wasn't roomy enough to hold some of our custom archetypes (coming after initial launch), so I decided to make it so it can also go left to right!

    Due to my lack of coding skills, the tree has been simplified from the original Wynncraft trees.
    Some abilities are missing, but I will add more missing features after initial release.
    On release though, every archetype should have it's essential abilities.
    I just left out some of the less relevant abilities to each archetype, and made some changes, including but not limited to:
    - Flying Kick & Collide is now optional.
    - Combined Tougher Skin & Mythril Skin into one ability, and buffed it to be +20% Base Resistance in total.
    - Condensed a lot of smaller "white" abilities into one ability, or removed them from the tree if they do essentially nothing useful, or are detrimental.
    - Buffed Marked
    - Buffed Weightless
    - Massively buffed Echo
    - Added some QoL to Summoner and Ritualist relating to masks.
    - A complete rework to trickster, inspired by @Wackolo 's thread about reworking trickster.
    - A slight rework to shadestepper, inspired by @pao 's post about how Backstab should be able to consume marks.
    - A lot more that I don't have room to say.

    unstated reason fine print: it will not be completely accurate to wynncraft's original system because we are all a bushel of bumbling fools who do not know what they are doing, so respectfully, cope
