    Revised Spell Build Types:

    Spell Damage: Heavyspell (hspell)
    Spell Damage + Cost Reduction: Cancelspell (cspell)
    Cost Reduction: Spellburst (sburst)
    Cost Reduction + Mana Regen: Spellflurry (sflurry)
    Mana Regen: Spellspam (sspam)
    Spell Damage + Mana Regen: Tierspell (tspell)
    Spell Damage, Cost Reduction + Mana Regen: Generalspell (gspell)

    Examples:
    - Heavyspell: Cast one spell every 9 seconds for 900% damage each
    - Cancelspell: Cast three spells every 9 seconds for 300% damage each
    - Spellburst: Cast nine spells every 9 seconds for 100% damage each
    - Spellflurry: Cast three spells every 3 seconds for 100% damage each
    - Spellspam: Cast one spell every 1 second for 100% damage each
    - Tierspell: Cast one spell every 3 seconds for 300% damage each
    - Generalspell: Cast two spells every 4 seconds for 200% damage each

    I think this looks like a pretty solid method of grouping spell builds

    i need a choice for yall after i finish mage & shaman:
    - Archer Archetype: Overseer, buff your allies and debuff enemies using Flares
    - Shaman Archetype: Totemist, like Summoner but everything's about your totems
    - Mage Archetype: Voidseer, take more damage to deal more damage, but also increase damage you take
    - Warrior Archetype: ???
    - Assassin Archetype: ???
    - Barbarian Class (would take more work, weapon is Axes, base defense is 80%)

    Voidseer is alot like fallen though? Totemist seems alot like 1.20 shaman, but overseer seems most interesting. Barbarian class also sounds cool, as long as it's not just higher damage warrior.

    If we’re creating new classes, I had an idea a while ago:
    The Warlock (oh wow such an original name oh boy)
    Main Weapon: Runes (crafted with wood and oil at a weaponsmithing station)
    Stats: 2 Defense, 3 Attack, 5 Range, 3 Spells
    Spell 1: Phantom, levitates the enemy and deals damage to the enemy over time while levitating
    Spell 2: Reversal, creates a rune and teleports you to your previous rune. Runes last 10 seconds. Casting this while within 2 blocks of a rune hurls you in the direction you are looking.
    Spell 3: Doom, hurls a projectile that explodes on impact dealing AoE damage
    Spell 4: Nightmare, creates an AoE that deals damage over time and speeds you up
    Archetypes:
    - Darkness (buffs, damage): specializes in dealing damage and boosting damage in various ways
    - Space (tricks, versatility): can alter their state under certain circumstances, altering their abilities and bonuses
    - Light (support, crowd control): specializes in healing and dealing group damage over time

    it's shaman, but mage
    also I feel like weapons for it should be crafted with ingots (or gems) and oil because reliks are already made out of wood and oil

    The crafting logic was:
    - Weaponsmithing x2: ingots and wood
    - Woodworking x2: string and wood
    - shaman (woodworking) x1: oil and wood
    - warlock (weaponsmithing) x1: oil and wood
    so far all of the weapons require wood, 2 require ingots, 2 requires string and 1 requires oil, so i just filled in the gaps.

    Probably a pseudo-melee beam like mage but shorter and maybe a cone, because we have 2/5 classes use a magical main attack and 3/5 classes use a ranged attack, so it would even it out to 3/6 (even split) for both
    The 5/5 range of the Warlock would be from the spell projectiles going really far and being unaffected by gravity

    I wholeheartedly support this, but I do have some minor suggestions:

    -1: Change Runes to Artifacts(This wouldn’t mess up rune lore too much and would also prevent player confusion when buying runes(the raid/dungeon key kind)
    2. Change the archetype names to Scion, Planeshifter, and Atoned(this is mostly to prevent conflict with Lightbender)

    If it’s runes, then… runes. Like Az and Tol, but a different symbol based on element/tier.
    If it’s artifacts, then probably like a relik, except more quasi directional (Χ instead of Ψ)
    Idk
    But definitely not just a meter cube of rock

    The concept of
    “The Warrior, gouging foes with their spear”
    “The Assassin, slashing foes with their dagger”
    “The Mage, withering foes with their staff”
    “The Archer, shooting foes with their bow”
    “The Shaman, vexing foes with their relik”
    “The Warlock, smacking foes over the head with their book”
    Means that it should absolutely just use basic melee attack as their main attack
