Ways to farm emeralds?

Hello, I recently became nearly bankrupt after impulsively purchasing a decent fatal for a cheap price and now I've realized I have no significant source of income aside from quests (which I no longer have since I'm 104)

I was wondering if anyone has any guides or suggestions on how to make money semi-efficiently? From what I know, the main endgame income source seems to be lootrunning, then raids, or even making a new character for questing, but I am definitely trying to do as little lootrunning as possible since it will probably kill the game for me. Raids are a bit meh since I'm a noob and I'd probably end up throwing those but I'll check those out sometime.

My ideas are doing some forgery runs once in a while, but I am really interested in farming for profession ingredients. (Yes I'm aware that does involve a little lootrunning, but I was more focused on hunting the *** monsters) Does anyone know if theres a list or a guide on where to farm high demand profession ingredients that I could sell on the player market? Or if theres another efficient method of earning emeralds that isn't lootrunning/re-questing/soul sucking gameplay? Thanks so much!

forgery chest is probably the worst method in terms of time spent to money earned - would definitely recommend raids over forgery. the professions discord should have some resources to help you with farming ingredients, and you can also find most rare ingredient locations on wynndata

 

Thank you for your reply! I'll definitely look into the discord and wynndata. And yea I figured with forgery, but my thought process was that I might get lucky with a mythic haha
