Assassin/Ninja Help Grimtrap Trickster

It's a Grimtrap build with the trickster archetype, and if some players that are better builders than me could look at the build and the skill tree and say if this is a bad build and how you would improve it, I would appreciate it thx! and yes I did not get multihit!

Petrichor is probably better than Silkweb Mail. Also, e6 x3 on armor seems redundant. Since e6e6 is for Rage and a third e6 does nothing for it.

Other than that I can't find anything else to improve it. Could probably use better mana sustain but I'm guessing the spell cycle will be cherry bombs + dash. That spin attack looks bad for mana.

 

why is Petrichor better than Silk web Mail? Silk web Mail gives more damage (I don't need the water damage) and lifesteal. Yes, I'm only using Vanish and Cherry Bombs. And what powders would you recommend on my armor? I'm a noob with powder.

 

It's usually not beneficial to powder armor at all unless specifically wanting to use on of the powder special gimmicks, but normally they are avoided.
The bombs with Petrichor are 29,635 while 29,253 with Silkweb Mail, so small difference. Petrichor also allowed for 5 more extra sp though, and a tiny bit more HP (only an extra 115 ehp though) for better survivability.
Unnoticeable, but still better all-around.

Oh yeah the life steal brings up a good point.

 

why is it that Petrichor did more damage? The last time I checked, Smoke bomb cares about the earth and air. The lifesteal is just a bonus. It's not the main point of the build. Also, thank you!

 

The earth and air damage is only a partial conversion of your base damage. So the % bonus is only amplifying that. Meanwhile the % spell is boosting the spell's base damage as a whole. Petrichor is doing that on top of some earth and air, meanwhile Silkweb is just boosting the conversion damage.
