SPOILER My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

I've been loving the Wynncraft experience, exactly what I look for in my MMORPGs, I got to the desert around lvl 30-35, I play as mage and I was starting to lack damage (also getting bored of my walking stick), I was hoping I could get something better soon
That's when I found my first ever secret discovery and when I learned about The Emperor and his almighty Sceptre. This was perfect, exactly what I was looking for, this badass wand with a great history was so alluring I immediately swore to find it or at least try to, I continued on finding discoveries and finishing desert quests...
And lo and behold, I actually do find it! ...aaaaaand its not a usable weapon, plus the other girl takes it anyway :/

Now I know out of rp it makes sense, this Scepter was so OP it made the Emperor a God in the eyes of his followers, you can't give players such a powerful weapon so early and basically for free
But canonically, is there any reason why we wouldn't be able to use it? Aside from maybe a high level requirement? I'd love to hear you guys' theories

honestly it would be funny if the scepter was a level 70 legendary wand

 

I feel ya... I wanted to use the staff of true ice on my mage.. which transformed into an ICICLE SWORD!

I wanted to use that weapon so bad..

 

I think itd be neat if more secret discoveries gave items like this, like quests do. Doesnt even have to be anything crazy.

 

There's The Necklace of a Thousand Storms, Phoenix Prince's Crown, and that one helmet from that first secret discovery, so they do exist, but yeah we could use more of them. Especially things that have more impact in lore.

would be nice if this was made into a mythic later on (as well as theorick's ice staff from fate of the fallen)

 

yeah, for sure. more incentive for discoveries would be nice (even though the xp is already great)
And getting access to some neat items for exploring the map, yknow

The scepter honestly should be usable, but only at level 80 or 90 with very high skill point (int/dex?) requirements?

Fr. It'd be cool if more items, not just mythics, existed that are more intrinsic to Wynncraft's lore and story.

 

Correct me if im wrong as im not immensely familiar with wynncraft's lore especially when it comes to lore on weapons and lore mentioned in game but I always figured this was that "sceptre". Between the mentioning of almuj and an empire two and two seemed to fit.

But I do agree there should be more stuff like this even if its somehow weaker cause its the player using it instead of original user like the whole "final boss when you unlock them as a playable character" kind of scenerio.
