the concept seems really cool but there needs to be lots of rebalancing, especially for intelligence

 

Quests are great, raid is great, spell system has potential but 100% needs rebalancing

 

This will probably be the best update the game has ever seen, I can't even begin to communicate how cool it felt to click down a skill tree and all the new spell effects make combat much easier to follow. In terms of quests, Wynn basically hasn't missed in ages, I know some people have issues with the ultimate weapon but it's getting fixed. Balance changes and bugs are why the Hero Beta exists, it's too early to say the update is disappointing on that front, things have and will get better, there's a reason why some classes are locked right now.

 

very cool update. fixes VERY much needed but all those fixes dont involve complete rework of a system
so it should hopefully end up awesome and cool yep !

 

The new content is great and the spell tree is also extremely good, but intelligence and agility as well as some archetypes(ahem fallen) need to be buffed or even reworked fully

 

Too early to decide, but really good so far. Many balance change needed still.

 

I have played maybe 4 hours and that was mostly grappling around with archer. I probably won't be playing until they fix the deplorable int situation

 

I definitely think it's way too early to tell, given that there's still 3 classes not on beta yet and who knows what other drastic changes could occur. Content-wise I've heard a lot of positives though, and I have felt like content was where Wynn was lacking in terms of quality, so 2.0 seems good in that regard maybe.

 

Looking at the trailer and dev streams I have really high hopes for it. I can't really judge it so far because my only high level character is a mage.

 

The subclasses all seem super cool. I'm looking forward to learning more about the riftwalker mage and the ritualist shaman.

 

They fucked up assassin so much spell-wise in this update...
Quests look great, and the subclasses are interesting, but damn they need to buff and nerf some spell things.

 

I feel like boltslinger and paladin are a lot more powerful than the other archetypes, while fallen is quite weak. Also, uppercut seems to have been nerfed heavily? idk why they would do that, but the spell feels way too expensive for what it does now

 

The content is great but the balancing and mechanics are well.... Not good. But it's only beta, so it'll all get sorted out for release.

Overall, great update. Tons of new mechanics to mess with, spell animations are actually incredible, and the archetypes are fun!

 

well yeah, what do you think the purpose of the beta is?

 

Haven't got to play it myself but the new spell tree is bonkers. Not sure if I can say the same for quests because I haven't seen them but then again I'm not into questing anyway. They're usually fine though.

 

Im still mad they killed agility rage builds

 

Guardian angels got nerfed and they are still my favourite and best spell.

It's not even playable yet though.
