How Long does it took for wynncraft to update stats

so in minecraft server usually, item takes time to update its stats after you swapped because of lag and stuff (try shooting a bow and hold looting sword). and especially in some big servers like hsb, this can leads to some abusable bugs. example is in skyblock, you can stack a high intelligence armor set, and then quickly swap it to an intelligence multiplier set and have a HUGE amount of intelligence due to it takes time to update the intelligence stat


so what im asking is, is this also the case for wynncraft? so today I bought an lb wand. will I get the lb if I instantly swap from my tp wand to the lb wand and instantly open the chest? or do I need to wait first for the stats to update? if so approximately how long? thanks

 

you don't need to wait

stats update near-instantly when you switch gear - you can see this for yourself by switching between two weapons where one has high walk speed and one has none, for example

usually when you swap to it, it should update; it's recommended to wait for a bit before opening due to your ping tho.

(also, if you bought a crafted lb wand, try not to teleport when you open a chest (lb wand isn't used for lootrunning, emerald staff is))

When using a crafted weapon (that is, casting spells or hitting something) it's going to lose durability over time, which leads to its stats worsening.

If the crafted's lb is higher, and you use it only as a secondary, Emerald staff isn't better.

 

It in fact is better since using a regular weapon does not trigger spell casting. Multiple mythics has been lost by accidental teleports done by crafted items

 

Teleporting works the same both with normal and crafted items, doesn't it? Which means that you would have to do exactly the same thing with both of them in order to accidentally teleport away and close a chest. And doing that thing is highly unlikely...

I might be missing some difference between the mechanics of normal and crafted items, but even then it makes no sense that there would be any difference in the first place.

 

Hello! It appears that you are fairly inexperienced with the mechanics, have you tried opening a loot chest with a crafted item and a normal item? They behave pretty differently from what I've observed from last time.

In case you haven't, I'll make it clear here: Opening a loot chest with regular item does not cause spell inputs to occur, however, opening with a crafted does.

 

So I was in fact missing something, thanks for clearing that up!

 

ok but since im using koh and like almost never triggered spell with the crafted lb wand i should be fine right? but yeah it does input r-l when opening chest with crafted lb wand for some reason
