Just joined, need some help

Okay so I got bored of hypixel and decided to give wynncraft a try. It seems fun but im literally so confused as to what to do rn. Any tips? Btw im archer what armor/weapon should i get keep in mind i am poor

 

at the start you shouldn't worry about your gear too much, just equip as you lvl up and loot from random chests and mobdrops.
I can recommend to follow the questbook to progress through the game and search up some secret discoveries if you like lore

also, any tips for the stat tuning points things? which should i focus on if im archer early game

 

depends on your playing style (strength/dexterity for damage; defense/agility for defense; intelligence for spell costs)
though let's say, just do whatever makes sense (and allows you to wear with your build)

gear: get whatever at level
skill points: focus evenly on str/dex; focus mainly on def or agi; only meet threshold on int
(that's a general idea, but how you assign it depends on your setup)

This should be what you see when you hover over your "Intelligence" skill point icon (At least for Wynntils users that's the case)
From here you can see which spell is getting a reduction after X points, say I have 30 skill points, I can either assign 1 or 13 skill points, any further or less does nothing to me at all.
