Archer dps

Hi, I’m playing as an archer with about 14k hp and 225% spell damage buff. Also I’m doing a 8122-42355 bomb arrow. I don’t have any problems with dungeons or quests but with raids. I can do like pretty much no damage to the raid bosses. All I do is shoot it a little bit and watch the assassins absolutely destroying the bosses health. My question is. How do i get good dps as an archer because I don’t feel like my set is that bad?

Just so you know, Assassin has an 80% damage buff they can cast on themselves, as well as several of the highest damaging weapons. They are pretty much made to be dps machines.

Your gear may very well be fine.

 

Hello! You seem to be using a very rng-y weapon and is playing as a glass cannon if your bomb arrow can hit up to 42k.

just use etw divzer and make assassin dps(without cataclysm) look horrible

 

Raw hp actually doesn’t factor the most in tankiness
Spell dmg can be affected by a lot of factors
And as the others say assassin have a dmg boosting spell called vanish
Maybe you can try get a better build

it kinda does depends on your sp assignments

also yea, though keep in mind that despite vanish gives +80% damage, the base damage values on assassin weapons are generally lower than archer weapons

 

Thanks for your respond. For some reason I can’t post links I think it’s because I’m new to wynncraft forums but my set is: Cancer, ornate shadow garb, Vaward, broken balance (because of a really good 98 95 roll). Two crafted rings with 50% spell damage boost each, dragons eyes bracelet, contrast, and plague with 4 tier VI fire powders.

 

Tbh i'm guessing it's more because of stone walker in tcc being busted and melee assassin builds.

it appears that your build is extremely random (note that plague is mainly melee) and use of broken balance isn't really ideal (since it heavily kills your available skill points)
Consider contacting @BlueTheSniper for his Blue's Builds server if you want to get a build for yourself, whether premade or custom

 

I know, which is a result of the damage buff from assassin. Which is why I said vanish and not stonewalker.
