    Welcome to the Gambling Den!
    Hosted by Hothotrod and cheeseyfe

    What's the Purpose?
Gambling mythics (rerolling or buying unidentified mythics and rolling them) is a very popular method of making money, but some people think that you have to have a lot of money in order to gamble. We are here to make gambling more affordable for people who don't have enough money to properly gamble.

Me and my partner personally find gambling to be one of the most fun parts of the game, but a lot of the time we didn't have the funds to afford expensive mythics to gamble with, and so we wanted to help people who are in those situations by starting up this service.

    Our Services
The main service that we are going to offer is the "money pool" method of affording mythics to gamble.

How it works is that people contribute money to a collective pool, and once enough is collected to afford an unidentified mythic, we purchase it and roll it. Your payout scales with the amount of money that you put into the pool, and how much the mythic sells for.

For example: If you contribute a stack to a pool that is going towards buying an unidentified Discoverer (worth about 9 stacks of le), your payout will be a ninth of the amount made from the sale, so if it sells for 15 stacks, you will receive 1.67 stacks back.

How rerolls will work is that me and my partner pay for rolls up to [3], and if we decide to roll to
[4], you can back out of the reroll, and the price will be split evenly between the remaining participants. Those remaining participants will get an increase in their share on the mythic sale.

For example: Let's go back to the example of a Discoverer, which costs 9 stx unidentified, and we are rolling it to [4]. For this case we are going to ignore the [1], [2] and [3] roll costs. Let's say that it costs 1 stx to roll to [4], and there are only 3 investors of the original 9 who want to pay for the reroll. Since the cost to roll is 21 le per person, their share will be increased to about 1/7.5 (1stx21le/10stx), which is an increase when compared to the original 1/9. The other 6 participants will have their share adjusted to 1/10, as they contributed 1 out of the 10 stx that the item costed to buy and roll.

You can also expect expensive mythics to have higher price ranges and sell faster than cheap mythics, meaning if you invest the same amount (1 stack) into an unidentified mythic worth 1 stack, you can expect a quicker and larger return.

We will charge a 10% fee on the profit made to cover the time it would take us to arrange sales/purchases, as well as to pay for the rerolls that we paid for out of our pockets. The other 90% of the money will be split. If you don't make any profit from the sale, we won't charge any money and you will receive your entire share.

    Other Ways to Invest
Currently how we announce a pool is by pinging investors on Discord and seeing how much people would contribute to the pool, but we've tested this out and seen that it can often times be too slow. and the mythics that we're trying to buy are already sold out by the time we get enough interested investors.

That's why we're launching an Investment Program.

How this will work is that investors can invest however much money they'd like to before possible purchases are even announced, and we would use that money to invest ourselves, so that we can completely avoid that downtime between announcing a possible purchase and the actual purchase. We will contact all investors and ask if they're ok with us buying a certain mythic with their money, and if they agree, we will put money in accordingly.

The way payouts would work is the exact same as the standard service, as they will be paid based on the amount we put in on their end, and the amount the mythic sold for.

    How to Get Started
To get an invite to our Discord where we will post notifications about unidentified/1 roll mythics that have come up on our radar, message either kabir#3203 (that's me) or agreed#6826.

You can contact us privately if you find a unidentified mythic for sale, and we will let you know if we think it is a fair price. If it is, then we will set up a chat for interested investors.

    Additional Information
Sales and purchases will be managed by me or my partner, and we will hold onto the purchased mythics for the time being.

If you have any further questions about our services, feel free to message either of us on Discord and we'll help you out.

The maximum a participant can put in the pool is a third of the cost, so that one person doesn't take all of the profits. This percent is subject to change in the future.

You can expect us to find purchases that cost a fair amount, and that you have our full confidence that you are getting a good deal and not getting scammed.

You make/lose money. Once we get a couple of gambles done, you can ask everyone who's invested in our business and they'll tell you that we haven't scammed them out of anything

See the problem is that most of the time unid mythics are sold for much higher than a reasonable profitable price value for that mythic. Like the example with the disco in the original post; realistically only green lb will sell more than 9stx and make a profit. On Sprong you can only really make a good profit if the unid rolls a 4mr or gets green overall. Also rr costs are a huge pain. If that unid 9stx disco gets to [4], which is pretty common on discos, now it has to sell for 10stx to barely break even. If you get it sold on TM disc that's fine, but on the market you'd also pay half a stack for tax at least. So uhhh investing in unid is kinda pain monetarily.

All of these points are flawed and can be applied to mythic gambling by yourself, so there's no point in bringing it up. Also, we don't necessarily only gamble unids. Sometimes we find a good [1] mythic for sale and decide to gamble it. For the Spring example, I bought an unid for 5 and sold it for 5.5, and it was pretty mediocre (3 mr and yellow ovr), and I only spent 2 le on the roll.

gambling unid in any case is kinda bad anyways, not to consider that most of the time it's sold high, same for low-rolls, most people are recommended to sell high to attract gamblers (hint: you!) to buy for overpriced

    flawed? not really

See I totally get where you're coming from but so far I've found fair prices and I'm not inept when it comes to prices and the TM. Also again, the prices aren't different for is than they are for if you're buying an unid mythic yourself. We're not trying to cater to people who don't even gamble in the first place, although those people are welcome to try out our services. Our goal is basically to have a service for people who like to gamble, and we're giving them a reduced risk factor with our service.

First of all, isn't that how most businesses work? And our goal isn't to scam people, so once we start doing a lot of gambles (We've already done 3 so far), we will gain a lot more credibility and trust in the community.

We don't gamble specific mythics. How it works is I'll see a possible gamble on Discord/TM and see if people are interested in gambling them. Then you put however much you want into a pool so that we can buy that item, and the amount you earn is based on how much you put and how much it sells for.
