Unlevelled chests

I've recently returned back to wynncraft and was wondering if unlevelled chests still exist?
For example, I was in looting a chest which was not in a territory and I used /class and yet the chest remained
at the level of the region despite there being no mobs nearby.

 

/class doesn't work, but theres still a couple unlevelled chests. Now the only unleveled chests are ones that don't have any mobs nearby and you don't need to /class them

What does make unlvl chests better?

 

not as well known, and can give endgame items

 

You can target a specific level range much easier by having a class at that specific level looting them.

 

what level is ideal for unlevelled?
i have a mage 106 but considering levelling another to 103

 

depends what you want. Unlevelled chests do +-4 levels, so if you want rarities, a lvl 1, if you want a quetzacoatyl, Lvl 106, if you wand a Discoverer, somewhere around 80, Jera somewhere around 50

I'm sure you probably know more about this than me, but is it really +/- 4 ? Unless it counts from lvl 100 +/- 4 even if you're lvl 106 since you can get lvl 96 items from unlvled as lvl 106. And since some people were lring unlvled with lvl 99 to get Idol, I'm guessing that it doesn't matter if you're lvl 106, 105, 104 or whatever above 100 since it will always go +/- 4 from lvl 100

 

anything above 100 counts as 100, yes

worth noting that this is only the case for unleveled chests - level 103 mobs can only drop level 99+ items, and i think flower pots don't have the cap either
