ill copy paste my predictions from the other thread here:
i feel like the 2.0 moniker would have to mean something big, and ngl by using it the devs have set the bar very high, i also feel like the devs know that if theres no new area people will be disappointed expecally since all of gavel was added as only a 'minor' update (for those that dont know in version numbering the standard convention is that you have 3 numbers (eg, V1.20.4) the first number denotes major changes, second minor and the third hotfixs / very small tweaks (sometimes even as small as fixing a typo), so i feel like new area would have to be a thing, but i also feel like we are going to be getting a rework with soul points as its been a massive thing the community wants reworked (or removed) and the devs has said before that they want to rework it but dont know how, i feel like this would be a core feature that would affect everything, then ofc you have your standard new items, some reworked items and probably some reworked / new quests and we also know that the bantisu air temple and kandon-beta have been reworked as they have already relesed screenshots which to me hints that alot of the reworked stuff will focus around gavel and the end game which makes me somewhat think we may be seeing dern added over fuma since its been said before that fuma is lvl 40 and the dern portal in in the silent expance and so impossible to reach before lvl 101 and hence dern must be lvl 101+ and also this would likly force a lvl cap increase too, ofc tho we may be getting both which could make for a interesting storyline being more a fuma magic vs dern thing since we can somewhat say the light vs dern war seems to be going ether stalemate or slightly in derns favor at this time and fuma's powerful magic should be able to break said deadlock.
going off how long its taken previous updates to happen im slightly worried that the devs have set themselves up for a disappointment as 2.0 is a big thing and people will expect alot and a year isnt really that mucch time all in all, but it has been the pandemic so many people would have had alot more time on their hands and not to mention the massive influx of users cause by hypixel going down for a week and again the pandemic may have both increased the funds available to to updates and allowed them to increase the team size, make something worthy of 2.0 brand being made, all in all at worst its a update that will rival the biggest we have seen so far, and realistically the devs know we expected alot from V1.21 so by using the V2.0 brand they have just sent those expectations through the roof and so they must be very confident they will meet those raised expectations

POSTING THIS FOR THE THIRD TIME IN THE LAST 10 MINUTES BTW... I swear its gonna be a revamp to all builds from before 1.19. It just makes sense. they changed the version to 2.0, They basically told us they are revamping the rest of gavel that wasn't updated in 1.20, WE SAW 2 SCREENSHOTS OF THE NEW NESAAK(which hints at a Wynn Revamp), and they said they're reworking corkus caves. Which in order to fit it in corkus they'll have to rework the entirety of corkus or atleast the sorrundings of caves... And Along with the Galleon's Graveyard dungeon rework, they are revamping the entrance to it as well. AND TO FIT IT IN WITH THE REST OF THE ISLANDS THEY GOTTA REVAMP THE REST OF THEM. so basically everything rn teases a full Map revamp... but don't take my word for it because im no content team member and even if i was i wouldn't be able to share a single piece of info about this so. lets just hope for the best... (Also one last thing is that they said there's less content and its focused heavily on reworks. and If an Update that small takes A YEAR AND STILL ISNT DONE. then they have something big planned. so uh Lets wait for tomorrow and see how it goes)
