This isn’t fast attack speed, but use this if you get tired of dying with whatever your current build ends up being (you may not get tired of dying, but anyways, this is just super tanky).

accessories optional except old keepers ring, just wanna make sure you have poison and stealing. Also, idk if I’d recommend getting an apoc for one of your first builds. Try out fast melee, see if you like it, then get apoc if it’s your thing is my advice. Also try out spell and stuff too before. I’ll also ping a warrior expert in discord to see if I can’t get you that tanky fast melee build.

Super tanky heavy melee? Nice! However I don’t recommend heavy melee for raids. I recommend trying out fast melee (aka tstack) like RenZenthio said.

Very funny chain lightning based build.
Class: any
Playstyle: melee(to charge up the chain lightning obviously)
Restrictions: No untradables(so no dungeon items and some merchant items) but hive and quest items r ok
Preferances: slower attack speed or just heavy melee so fast charging of chain lightning, and lots of lifesteal so chain lightning is a heal to full effectively.

but if you REALLY hate dungeon items
then ig replace writhing growth with earth breaker
but drain is just too good
just do the corrupted dungeon runs lol-

but thats heavy melee
ill do a chain lightning specific build later which will hopefully have no dungeon/merch items

Preferences: WFA/EWA/ETWA any build with air damage and decent sustain ty (can use mythic but pls not more than 9 stx), mainly for tcc since my black deals no damage

theres not really any good move speed options since you dont have any agi, though if you really want it you could swap one of the accessories with a speed accessory

dhydro necklace + anyas. the -mr version has better mana sustain though, especially since trift can recast melees

 

oh I wasn't aware of trift being able to recast melees
ill go try one of these out eventually

Here’s an experimental build of mine that should perform well in all content (due to vslow attack speed piercing elemental defenses pretty good)

both builds, while appearing to have low damage actually hit quite hard, the prest build having 23k damage per meteor cast, and the manablast build having 21k damage per meteor cast. Although, these numbers assume perfect meteor casts, and perfect courage and curse uptime, which, of course, will not be the case. I’d atleast say they’re competitive to non-mythic builds though with the benefit of also being quite tanky. They also provide more forgiveness, as you’ll have more meteors falling, meaning you don’t lose all your dps if you miss a meteor.

I know these aren’t pure spellspam, but I think the best builds require curse or courage, otherwise you’re making yourself very glassy just to match the damage a tankier powder special build can pull off. On the same hand, a powder special build can also go glassy and just straight up outdamage any spellspam build. And if you build tanky powder special, you have more consistent damage.

Anyways, if you want a non-trift build I can try to build one, but I think these are competitive.

Just to humor myself, this is prolly more of what you wanted: (You can also go 105 int to specc more into defense for higher ehp and damage. I think conderchain also ratchets up damage if you want that)
