What do you think about story of wynn with the quest
Personally it’s so amazing I’m so in the story when I play later I was stressed for A PNJ !!
Idk if you too you enter in the story but I love this game and I hope there is gonna be new maj cause this is an amazing story ;)

its cool but its too convenient(some quests especially)
yes i understand that it would be a lot more effort to remake the quests to add more stuff but it would make the game feel much more lively.
half the quests now just straight up tell you what to do and how to do it without having the player figure things out for themselves.
i know that this is about the story and not the quests but i consider the quests part of the lore too.

The thing is that some players aren't very smart. So it'll be very annoying for them to just, have to check the wiki. People can get very frustrated. They've had quests be not very clear at parts and that doesn't really add much, just half the players doing the wrong thing and getting angry. Take the lava springs quest for example, like 80% of the players jumped into the lava when the general said the borehole. So they have to move him next to it, get him to tell you to go there. Its unforunate but it is what it is.

 

honestly i kind of appreciate it that a lot of quests just..... tell me what to do? as someone who is most likely autistic and struggles w/out clear instructions (even the wiki doesnt help sometimes actually!! sometimes they're way too vague for me) i dont, however, mind a bit of like "hey try n figure out stuff on ur own a bit :)" (ie zelda dungeon puzzles) but all in all i generally actually really just appreciate being told clear cut "hey. go do this. it is over there" but this is from the standpoint of someone who has a high chance of being neurodivergent

but to answer OP's question, i think! the stories, and general overall lore are really damn interesting - its kind of the Big Reason why i got into wynn so hard and im still goin pretty strong 8 years later. it's..... definitely a bit of a mess if u look a little more closely and theres still a lot we dont know atm i think, but overall i've enjoyed it so far.
my only qualms are that some characters arent written the clearest and most of the majors just. dont get the development i'd love to see them get, honestly. but i suppose its fuel to the fire of my love of writing character headcanons, thinking about their general personality and habits and tendanceis n all that lol

 

Yea I agree that the clear instructions are kinda annoying? But I think that's more of a old wynn thing as the newer quests have a lot of "figure this out" stuff

nah man the newer quests have a lot of it too. for example, see forbidden prison. It's one of my favourite quests, but would be so much more enjoyable (for me) by removing the large amounts of hand-holding and adding better, more realistic stealth mechanics

 

Oh yea, it's sorta mixed tbh. Some have it some don't. Depends on who makes it I guess, but yea.
