I've had a jester necklace and bracelet for a couple of years with a -9% xp bonus, which is lower than what the wiki says is the highest possible identification. I use wynntils and instead of a identification percentage it just says new. I've always been curious what caused this, thanks.

    it's possible
are you curious about the NEW from wynntils? it might be because the api is wrong.
probably because it is an old bracelet and the values changed.

the reason for this is that the jester items were changed to have negative xp/loot bonus rolls instead of positive ones. when an id gets changed like this, the internal value of each id stays the same - despite the fact that positive ids have an internal range of 0.3-1.3 and negative ids have an internal range of 0.7-1.3. thus, if you had a jester item with a low xp/loot bonus roll, its new value is outside what it "should" be for that stat

there's a few other items like this; i know quinque is one of them
