Restrictions: must use archangel and could survive TCC

Exchanging classbuild information here - Crafteds' skill point bonuses work the same way weapons do - they don't affect skill point reqs, but -36 int will increase spell cost (hence why I can still use spring).

Preferences: probably melee would be nicer to measure DPS easier, but all will do

 

Again, I don't know how to build archer and this is ridiculously glassy but this... might have decent damage (idek what's good dmg for archer)

Ok ok I was wrong Vanish clearly increases dmg by more than Totem here's some more heavy melee

I think I'll hold off on the Cataclysm + Ambivalance builds for now - I can't make anything with decent sustain.

Yes, it's not the tankiest. However I decided that this was a good time to advertise Jump Height. I have survived several TCC runs with sub-20k ehp based on the fact that I had 11 jump height (look I was using a trashy build at the time).
It's not hard to make a tanky Archangel build (if you put Archangel and Second Wind together you get more ehp than this) but Jump Height is a completely overlooked attribute. It's like the item team went "let's put Olympic in the game and then pretend like this ID never existed".

Sorry I was ranting but my point still stands. If I tried to make an actually tanky build it would just be a worse version of things other people could make, so I did this.

I put on a failsafe so that you don't accidentally multihit (plus the poison is significant and Plague is fun)

the first one has more ms than the second one
but requires two tomes
however the second one has less ms
only 8/3s
but requires one tome
which one should i use

 

Tomes are super easy to get they should not be a constraint at all

To be fair, isn’t that the whole point of this thread?

 

The concept "x is inviable" (for instance Grimpockets Heavy Spell) is the very thing I abhor in classbuilding and this thread is my rejection of the concept of "inviable" builds - trying to make things that don't work work.
Sadly, the problem with Alka Heavy Melee is that Heavy Melee is a concept based around powder slots - it's like trying to do The Nothing Melee (holy crap I need to go make that build) - the concept is inherently flawed.

But yeah no if you requested "Alka Heavy Melee" in Atlas Inc they'd reply "no just use Alka spell or tierstack" and so this is the thread where people can request things like that and I'll respond
