SLOWNESS BUGS ARE GETTING ANNOYING!!

So...

This is my first ever Wynncraft Forum thread. I would love to go woot woot but I will not as I am currently extremely disappointed.

A bit of background context. I am currently a level 96 archer halfway to 97 with all my quests complete up-to-date. I desperately wanted to get to level 100 so I can make the switch to a new armor set I have set up and ready in my e-chest. As such, I decided to queue the raid in the realm of light called "Nexus of Light" or something like that (I forgot). I quickly found, to my disappointment, that the raid was way too difficult for me even though it was marked as a level 80 something raid.

My party members that I had queued up with told me to instead grind in the corrupted dungeons and get myself a good xp set. I had been using the champions sets with spell spam to basically go from level 75 all the way to now. I found that because it already had decent xp bonus stats that I didn't need another xp bonus set. However, I really wanted xp and I wanted it fast so I went ahead and spent about 6 LE on a good xp bonus set and ended up with around 160% xp.

Now, I should say that I only had 17LE to start with and after spending 6LE on the set, I was done to 11LE. But I was not done spending. I had to buy a round of keys to each of the corrupted dungeons in order to unlock the full forgery chest. And so after buying the keys, I was down to 6LE (averaging almost 1LE per key). And now I was ready.

As I have done the corrupted undergrowth ruins before, I started with that one as I found it really easy to beat. It went by like a piece of cake. Then, since I haven't done any of the others, I did the only logical thing which was to go through them from easiest to hardest. So I went to decrepit sewers next. Everything was going amazing. No death, no bugs, no glitches, nothing. Everything went perfectly and I quickly go to 6/7 on the forgery chest. Not to mention also hitting level 97.

Then came corrupted ice barrows. Everything was going amazing until I reached that room where I had to collect tokens to summon mini-bosses and then use the mini-bosses token to unlock the bridge to the final boss room. I beat the mini-bosses no problem and submitted my tokens to the bridge unlocker. Nothing happened. The game just sucked my tokens away and did nothing with it. So I was like, "Ah, must have just lagged or something. I'll just do that again!" And so I did it again. This time around, I got the slowness bug where when I went to click to unlock the 2nd mini-boss, it suddenly gave me slowness. This has been happening to me A LOT in and out of dungeons so I did what I always did which was to back out to the class menu and re-login. When I re-logged, I found that the pedestal wouldn't accept my tokens anymore. At this point, I was getting annoyed. I re-logged again and found that FINALLY the pedestal would accept my tokens. EXCEPT!! The main pedestal to unlock the bridge was now bugged. I couldn't submit my mini-boss tokens. AND SO I re-logged again to find that "WOW I can submit my tokens!! BOSS FIGHT HERE I COME!"

Nope. It sucked my tokens in again and NOTHING HAPPENED AGAIN!!! At this point I was fuming. Not only was this really boring and repetitive, but it was also burning through my health pots. One of the downsides of this xp set is that it has 0 hpr meaning I can't regenerate health naturally. And because I could only hold 30 pots, I was expecting to reach the boss room with at least 20 left. It was possible as I had 24 left after the first run of the tokens. Now I was down to 10. I was like "Ah I'll just give this one last go, it'll be sure to work right?" cause I'm such a positive guy and likes to see the bright side of things. AHA not even close! I finished the run of tokens and ended with 3 pots. During the process of collecting tokens, I ran into another slowness bug but this time I was like, I'll just deal with it and so I just left it. AND THEN! The final pedestal sucked my tokens AGAIN! AGAIN!!!!

After that, I just couldn't play anymore. I was malding my head off and not to mention, I had to /kill to leave and it RESET my forgery chest. RIP my one hour spent and 11LE on the keys and armor.

Please Wynncraft. Please do something about these stupid idk glitches, bugs, faults, whatever. Please do something about it. And also. When someone uses /kill to get out of somewhere, why the hell would that remove 2 soul points. You're telling me that if I fell into a hole that I can't get out because the game placed the hole there, I have to waste 2 soul points to /kill? And even worse, when someone /kills out of a forgery dungeon, why does that reset the chest? I did not get killed by a mob, not by a trap in the dungeon, not by the boss. I killed myself because of a fault in the dungeon. WHY OH WHY does that reset the chest. After I spent SO MUCH time and ems on it, I lose EVERYTHING because of the game's fault!!

Sorry this is a really long thread. And I am really sorry for anyone that actually spent their time to read all this. I am still malding and just wanted to share my experience so everyone can know.

Apologies for the inconvenience this created, we are focused on quest issues but i can take a closer look at ice barrows, it's definitely on the list of areas with strange issues in general. We will take a look at those token collectors. A lot of the time, doing /class should fix any issue with token collectors.
Soul points are a whole other conversation I am not willing to go into but we all have various opinions on how to improve the system. /kill resets the chest to prevent abuses, /class is usually the way to go in many cases.

You can use the bug reports section to record and send in issues so it's easier to identify and investigate them for us too. I might take a few days just for dungeons before the next update, see if those cases are random (server or lag happening and not registering properly maybe) and if we could decrease its impact in needed areas or if bigger/proper issues could be fixed.

1. how did you lose your armour
2. yea its a bug pretty sure you have to put it in one by one it doesnt work if its all at the same time.
3. It resets chest? Wait what. I swear it just stops you from progressing but you can still claim the rewards.
4. Yea try calming down. I can try to give you the ems you spent back since I have some and dont really need them so maybe we can arrange something.

 

1. I didn't lose my armor, I just said I spent the ems on the armor set so I could grind the dungeon but felt like the ems were wasted on the set.
2. That makes a lot more sense. Thank you for clarifying. I had no clue that's how it works cause in the normal ice barrows dungeon (which I ran millions of times), putting them in all at once worked.
3. Yea. I did /kill after that corrupted dungeon experience and I went to check on the chest and it was reseted. But I guess I can see how it can be exploited.
4. Yea I'm fine now. After a good night's sleep I realised losing brain cells over this is not worth.

Wynncraft is still the best minecraft RPG (maybe the only one idk) and I still really enjoy it. I just acted in the heat of the moment and I apologise. I can't wait to grind the new quest.

 

You can still use the exp armour for grinding other stuff I guess, also you can resell the armour for profit maybe

 

Tbh, this is a known bug. Typically to deal with it I throw one token out, then imput the other 2 since it still accepts them, but doesn't register. Then you pick up the one you dropped and imput it and it'll update opening the way forwards
