Hi, I'm a new player who played Hypixel Skyblock before and thought: Hmm, everyone tells jokes about Wynncraft, why aren't you looking how it works?

I created a account, watched a tutorial, played the in-game tutorial and now, im very impressed, and I like the mage class a lot.

    First small question:
Is it allowed that a mage is able to damage through walls?

    Second:
    Is the Paradise Wand good?

    Third:
Where should I go, what should I do?

Im combat 8 and total lvl 9

well, i consider the fact that mage attacking through walls as a feature, so do what you want with that knowledge.

at lvl 8, u usually dont need to worry about gear. you can go through lvl 1-100 by using gear you find.

I suggest doing quests since they're a good source of xp, emeralds, and they're the main content on wynn. They'll slowly introduce the map. Professions like mining, fishing, jeweling, etc. are completely optional. Since they're really grindy, I dont do them, but you can if you want since they can be a good source of income when you max them out even tho it might take a long time to do that.

Also, just a suggestion, I dont recommend spreading your skill points equally.

im not sure, i dont play mage, but id say you wont get banned for it

no idea if its good, just use whatever looks coolest to you since you're in early game, have fun and dont worry about builds yet
slap on whatever armor you like the look of

and as ice_phoenix said do quests
they're fun (sometimes tol is still absolutely painful), give you good xp and ems, and lore
if you do quests somewhat regularly you will not run out of ems unless you wanna buy a pure on your first playthrough or smth

    Thank you!
    Another question:
There's an online map, how most people know, but, underneath the City names, there are lvl numbers. What is the meaning of them?
    And:
Where you can find energy mushrooms?

The level numbers are basically recommended levels for entering the city. The quests there are at a certain level, the mobs and citizens are at that level, etc.
The energy mushroom is at the end of the cave next to Therck when you see him.

Dont forget, the quest information is on the scoreboard on the right side of your screen, which tells you where to go and what to do. Try your best to read the dialogue to know where to go but if you don't sometimes theres cordindates which tell u where to go, your compass will point towards that location when theres cords and theres also a beacon thatll appear in the distance to show you which way to go. As I said, reading dialogue can help. Therck says the mushroom is in the cave right next to him, you would of noticed it, becauses its 1 block away from him.

I wouldn't really recommend that since it might be overwhelming or confusing to players who arent familiar to the vanilla wynncraft features, but yeah, i agreee that it's really useful.

It only refresh every 5 minutes and quite annoying isn’t it?
Wynntils had a lot of other quality of life features and most importantly lootrun (an endgame money making method which is about looting chest) routes display, I’d say it’s a necessary mod for every Wynncraft player
    ________________________________
The few reasons I can think of that why some players don’t use it:
    1. They are veteran enough to remember the whole map of Wynncraft without getting lost
    2. Again veteran enough that they don’t have to rely on QoL features to play the game
    3. Your memory is strong enough to REMEMBER EVERY LOOTRUN ROUTES AND 400+ CHEST LOCATION THAT CAN SPAWN MYTHICS

two of the biggest objections to wynntils i've heard are 1. posts like this push it way too hard and 2. can't be bothered downloading it
i support wynntils but plenty of good players do not opt for it

Wynntills is helpful but I do not AT ALL think it is necessary.
You can always enjoy the game without using it.
