Wynncraft’s Gimmick Weapons

Wynncraft has some gimmick weapons or basically weapons or items that cause you to play a certain play style.

Mage:

Lunar spine
Lunar spine is a wand that gives a bunch of mana steal but also a bunch of negative mana regeneration. This wand forces the user to steal mana and spam spells in the span of 2-3 seconds before your mana reaches 0 again. This wand is a very interesting wand to say the least because of the huge trade off. Lunar spine is outclassed by other mythics because you can focus more on damage than balancing the negative health regeneration and negative life steal of the lunar spine but some people find this weapon fun

King of Hearts
Essentially a healing item. This weapon basically forces you to only heal when doing damage so and it heals a lot so its great to dual wield an is a must have if you want to be a healer

The Nothing
The nothing in interesting in that its base damage is 0-1 but has a ton of spell damage% and main attack damage% making it a really good and cheap wand

Empire Builder
like the name this weapon is a fully customizable weapon. It gives 6 of every skill point and has 8 powder slots leading to many possibilities so you can make some interesting builds with this weapon


Assassin

Blossom Haze
Blossom Haze, although not that great of a dagger has a very interesting major ID called cherry bombs which changes how the smoke bomb spell for assassin works. When using this major ID it can completely change how spell spam assassin works where instead of spamming spin attack, you spam smoke bombs. Blossom haze isn’t really that much of an endgame weapon so if you want, you can use the Conspirators Trickpockets instead

The Specialist
A dagger with a bunch of skill points and elemental damage% but has like very low base damage so its kinda similar to The Nothing for mage except this weapon has powder slots

Sreggad
Similar to the specialist but has more of a purpose to thank attacks because of the health sustain stats and bonus health, elemental defense and thorns/reflection. Probably should dual weild this if you’re in a tough spot


Archer

Grandmother
I tried not to include mythics that much but the reason why grandmother is on this list is because of that you can pull off a lot of rage abuse with this weapon and not die due to archers range. The rage powder special increases your earth damage depending on how little health you have and grandmothers negative health regeneration and negative health regeneration% plus negative lifesteal keep you at 1hp allowing you to gain a %396 increase in earth damage. Although not really that much of a gimmick weapon it still can allow for a completely hyper glass play style

Destructor
a level 73 weapon with essentially great melee damage but a bunch of negative walk speed. Wouldn’t really recommend using it unless you have a bunch of walk speed to balance it out but if you can putt that off you might be able to survive using it

Warrior

Sadly for warrior there isn’t much since warriors weapons aren’t really that interesting and most major id’s focus on warriors ability to become a tank but if you have any ideas please mention them

Shaman

Procrastination
Procrastination , just like the name has a major ID called peaceful effigy which doubles totem duration which isn’t really that great except for the fact that you need to place down your totem less often. However with double the amount of time for the totem, you can focus more on damaging mobs without having to worry about placing your totem that much plus it makes grinding mobs more easier. I don’t really play shaman so I don’t know all the capabilities of this weapon

Narcissist
REJECT HUMANITY, BECOME TOTEM is basically what it’s major ID geocentrism does. It allows aura to radiate from you instead of your totem. This is a pretty challenging playstyle because shamans take 50% more damage from mobs than assassins having the lowest base defense in the game so basically playing this is a death wish but it’s still a very interesting weapon to not put on this list

Panic Zealot
These two weapons have the same major ID Furious Effigy which doubles the speed of totem effects but half’s the totem duration. Basically this allows you to do damage to mobs faster but you’ll need a lot of mana sustain because spamming spells with this major ID with probably drain your mana a lot. The only thing you need to worry about with using panic zealot is not getting hit because you lose a lot of health when holding out the Relik but that’s not a problem if you can kill the mob before they hit you

Overdrive
A really great relik. This relik basically gives you a bunch of spell damage plus a bunch of attack speed tiers so the weapon basically becomes a tierstack weapon without needing tierstack armor

Notable Major IDs
These aren’t really for weapons or don’t introduce a new playstyle but instead are like a buff or upgrade
Hawkeye: Allows for more arrow storm damage for archer which I would recommend using for spellspam archer
Plague: Necessary for poison builds and good for all classes especially mage
Greed+magnet: Really good combination to keep yourself alive and is great for all classes
Sorcery: Good for any class but basically allows you to get 30% more damage on your opponent when spamming spells
Flashfreeze: Makes ice snake instant which can be useful in some situations for mage
Entropy: allows mage to spam meteor more
Fission: Explosions go brrrrrrr good for every class

Some notable weapons are the orange wybel weapons but i’m not in the mood for going through them now

If you know any more items that have a unique playstyle or a “gimmick” to them please mention them

i can confirm that grimpocket users who use spin attack get kicked out

 

As a gma enjoyer
I can confirm that gma is fun

 

You forgot about thunder mythics in general, which all have glass-cannon gimmicks (maybe apart from sunstar)

Fatal- Allows you to have a wide range of mobility options and gives very high spell damage but debuffs your heal spell

Thrundacrack:
Gives you high damage and decent walk speed buffs but drains away your health passively

Divzer:
Has a one-tap or be one-tapped playstyle, offers insane damage buffs but removes most of your defense in turn

Cataclysm:
Decreases your base health massively but gives you extremely powerful dps capabilities

 

Thrundacrack doesn't drain your hp,
It gives negative HPR %, but even with the worst possible role its not enough to drain your HP.
Honestly, if you were to point out any mythic weapon for this, it would probably be Apoc, its negative HPR % is enough to drain your HP, and then gives you life steal, forcing you to attack things in order to keep your life up.

Even then, the gimmic of "You do alot of damage, but at a cost!" Isn't horribly unquie, especially for thunder items.

Black abyss i would say fits a gimmick items because its kinda like a thunder damage only item but all the dexterity disappears in favor of strength

• Any if the 1.20 mythics. Those are all wack
• The Nothing
• The Specialist
• King of Hearts
• Literally any Relik. Those were designed as gimmicks imo

Smh, no love for Sreggad, Praesidium, Forest Aconite, Lower, Petrified Horror, Glissando, Overdrive, Big Arm, Empire Builder, Namazu, Gert Bangswing Manypointystick, Roulette, Blade of Purity, Panic Zealot, Gravitation Lance, Ohonte Kerhite, Ricin, Destructor, Hesperium, Heat Death, Skien's Madness, Impulse, Haqherphix, Salpinx, Sonicboom, Wybel paw, The Set Weapons (they don't work but if they did they'd be gimmicky), and of course, my precious boy, Salticidae.

And also by technicality Pure, Warp, Toxoplasmosis, Archangel, Nirvana, Weathered, and like half of the other mythics in the game but mythics being janky is to be expected.

 

actually The exploited is a gimmicky weapon as well, and its gimmick is BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRA BRRRRRRRRRRA BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRA BRRRRRRRRRA BRRRRA BRRRRRRA (or its just here )

I can conclude that the people who make items just don’t want archers and especially warriors to have fun with unique weapons

Warrior has Idol which is very unique, it lets you fly.

 

Where is FOREST ACONITE

Also some of these weapons would be actually usuable if they didn't have so low base damage (Lower, Panic Zealot, Narcissist cough cough), so come on, buff plz
