Transitioning from 1.12.2 to 1.18.1

Heya! I'm relatively new to Wynncraft, and I always play on 1.12.2. I wanted to change to 1.18.1 because of the new music, but I'm worried that my data will not transfer, and that I will have to make a new class. So, will it get corrupted if I change versions?

npnp, I got helped a lot in this game and just returning the favor to anyone that needs it.

 

Why do you want to switch to 1.18 for the new music? Wynncraft has its own music. Also, I’d recommend staying in 1.12 because there’s a mod called Wynntils on 1.12 that really helps with the server. And 1.12 would probably run better as well.

 

IMO, wynn music sucks. i know about wynntils, i dont mind having to open my browser to look at the map.
