The Vikings and Dwarves

I just wanted to ask if the Vikings of the 2 Ice Nations are meant to be dwarves from gavel?

-They're architecture is similar, especially since actual Vikings didn't really build big stone mountain towns.

-They were attacked by the dead ship which the seaskipper said had been anchored in the north for a while and I also think Adigard mentions that they were attacked in the north anyway.

-The discovery mentions a war on the mainland which of course could refer to the corruption war on wynn but I wondered if it could also mean decay in gavel (though the dwarves and quite far from that)

-Completing Ice Nations means you get a climbing helmet which can be used in the Maro Peaks, which is connected to the same mountain range that makes up the cannon of the lost - where the dwarves of Thanos live.

This could be more of a theory but the outcome doesn't really matter and isn't really ground breaking. I just wanted to know if they were dwarves or not.

Wow, that's a good point, i never actually thought of that. That fits quite well. Maybe these dwarves were trying to escape the war and so fled to the sea?

 

this is probably just a coincident.

 

I mean, almost certainly given that the vikings came out long before the dwarves did but it's just my thoughts - I just wanted to ask if there was an actual solid piece of evidence within game confirming if or if not they were.
