Making Wynn MORE Difficult

Hey Guys!



Before you read please know I am PAYING the user with the best suggestion/idea 30LE!

So, I'll start with a short introduction to who I am and what I have done in this game to get it out of the way:

My IGN is TravisNH I have played the game since 2014 and have really been playing a lot for the past 3 years. I have accomplished max combat level, max useful profession level, beaten HIC (nearly twice) and lootran a good amount on mage and a few fully levelled ironman classes. Also done a bit of guild stuff. [Probably other stuff im forgetting but those will be most important here]

What I am asking:

I am looking for a NEW or INTUITIVE way to play Wynncraft! I am looking for ideas from the community since I've just ran out and anything I can think of at this point is stupid. I don't just want "Play without a keyboard" or "Play with lower graphics," I' looking for something game changing through the whole game (Like any gamemode)

Making the BEST suggestion:

Some ideas to add to your suggestion could be limiting builds in a way, limiting what gear I can use in an interesting way, etc. I will award what I think is the best Idea here 30LE I will either not give this out if I don't get one or just give it out immediately if the first comment is amazing. Depends on you guys.

Conversation and further questions are encouraged! If you ask me questions or other people here questions and build up a good challenge that would be great!

 

Play wynn but you only can use 1st and 4th spell :)

 

Use only normal items only, and no movement spell

 

Do what I did and do a playthrough of completionist wynn without armour or skill points. (it's pretty funny)

 

you have to A) play on ironman and B) swap out your armor with whatever you find. So if you are wearing adventurers chestplate, and then find another chestplate, you have to swap your chestplate to the one you just found. if you die you have to delete all of your armor/weaponry and start anew. (this still applies even if it's the same armor piece as the one you are currently wearing)

you could also do whats effectively an armor/gear nuzlocke, where you have to use the first item in a pre determined level range and if you lose it/cant use it, then you have to wait until the next level range in order to use that missing piece of armor/gear again. level ranges could be like: lv 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-80, 91-100, and 101-105 if applicable

 

Play Wynncraft without using Elemental Damage of any kind - spells, weapons, etc.

 

Wynn but you have the screen upside down the controls reversed and your mouse and keyboard switched

I’ve also thought about how to make it a better experience, one that actually requires skill and not emeralds or luck to find something in a chest.
Thats why i think you should play crafteds and ironman only but at the same time can’t use movement spell with the objective of getting all quests and side quests together with discoveries i feel like it’s challenging and you take time to enjoy the content of the game. :)

You could also just play the game using only perfect items but meh thats not really hard :/ and you dont get to enjoy the game because wynn is a great game but the lack of difficulty or just boring quests that bug can make it really lacklustre

 

Wynncraft, but you can only use armor weapons, potions, etc from Merchant NPCs

this includes things such as using as much neutral damage as possible, change gear every 3 in-game days or something, change your texture pack so everything is in underwear, never attend a bomb party, etc.

Hmm new gamemode...
Villager mode
All loot must be gathered from major cities.
Buying from merchants are allowed as long as the emeralds are gathered from major cities(You can't sell/scrap crafted items because there isn't a possible way to level up crafting as all loot must be gathered from major cities)
Quest items are allowed but quest rewards are not allowed.
Loot chests from secret discoveries don't count(i.e. the Detlas one).
Turn on Ironman for the best experience.

Raffle mode
Get a raffle and input every discovery.
Every 10 minutes you have to roll the raffle and get to that discovery and survive for 10 minutes.
Discovery = Boss Altar discovery, Secret discovery, Area discovery etc.
The first raffle starts the moment you complete "The King's Recruit"
Turn on Hardcore for the best experience.

speedrun getting a new ironman class to ahmsord with no help

You have to unlock every tome slot without using any legendaries or above, powders are allowed, but no crafting

 

You cannot put skill points in def or agi (and you can't use armor with def or agi bonuses)

 

tome slots arent hard to unlock

 

Entertainment value (EV): 10/10
Difficulty: 2/10 (you have to wait for them if they die)
Playthrough with a friend. It's so fun being a tryhard vs a filthy casual

EV: 6/10
Difficulty: 5/10 (mostly because: emeralds, up to date gear, accessories)
Utility: can be played while waiting for lootrun chest cooldowns
Playing no chests. You may not open any chests at all. All other gear is fair game but you must reset if you open a chest

EV: 2/10
Difficulty: 9-10/10
Utility: more profs
Leveling all profs to 100+ at combat level 1. (I want to see how many levels you shoot up after doing a sky islands gathering quest at level 1)

EV: 7/10
Difficulty: 7/10
Utility: lootrunning ig
Lootrunning with over 10k ping. I don't know how you can do it, but it's a trip I'll tell you that much (do I need to add that you might get frustrated??)
