If you could make changes to any quests you want, what would you do?

    I think making Seluc tp to you would make the quest too easy and worthless, but at least make it so that he doesn't have the attention span of a 4 year old and DOESN'T START CHASING DOWN MOBS FOR NO REASON.

    Just pls make it not take 2 hours cause he suicide rushes every enemy in a 50 block radius instead of following the player

    update all the out of place lore in quests

    the bob cutscenes are like 6 years old or something painfully underwhelming at this point

    People keep wanting to change The Canyon Guides but here I am with it being my #2 favorite quest.

    I'd like to make the golems in Jungle Fever a little more bearable in terms of the amount of damage dealt by each one.
    I'd also like to change RoL quite a bit, including adding a secondary raid/quest or dungeon in which you travel through the portal with Lari (I wouldn't change her charactor though)
    and one of these two polar opposites: Either making all parkour cheeseable with movement spells, jump height, walk speed etc. OR making all quest parkour nullify the all of the above (including potion effects, such as speed 3 from Escape)

    (also, I'd add a dislike feature to forum posts so this one would instantly get the world record)

    Before talking about any changes I'd like, I want to appreciate the changes that were made. I've noticed these after coming back to wynn after quite a while, and seeing these while levelling my low assassin really made my day:
    1) Enzan's Brother now only goes partway through the Emerald Trail instead of at the end. It's a lot clearer for new players for an intro quest, and it's also right next to the IDer. It's also a lot more interesting, and the stairs to nowhere are hilarious.
    2) Tower of Amnesia is now way better than before, which was a TP scroll collection quest. Now with 1000% more Sailor Caid!
    3) Early quests of the same level now start generally closer together. This saves so much time having to jump back and forth between two different areas without horses/tp scrolls (new players may not know about / use tp scrolls as often as they should). There were a bunch of changes, but most notably Mushroom Man now starts in Detlas instead of Nivla, and you get TPed there. Way better than being forced to run there at level 13-14, when you're already out of Nivla to begin with.
    4) Stable Story being moved to 13 instead of being around 26-ish. Having an early horse is such a major QoL improvement.
    Can't really say anything about the higher level quests as I haven't done most of them before 1.20, but I'll just note that From the Mountains is significantly better and half the Olux quests seem better as well. The quests that were replaced by the RoL questline were quite lacking previously, and now I actually look forward to doing them.
    And now, for the suggested changes:
    Cook Assistant - [Tell the player where Katoa Ranch is, or at least point them in the general direction.] (Oh nevermind, that change was made in 1.20 as well!)
    Underwater - Make the grind for fish a bit less, it's quite long.
    Green Gloop - Either increase the Soft Sand spawn rate or decrease the number you had to get. I had to traverse the entirety of the desert twice to find enough, but maybe I was just unlucky.
    Shadow of the Beast - Remove the proffing requirements, for 100% quests now I need 20 in each profession level. This can take hours. Isn't this what mini-quests are for, anyway?
    Tribal Aggression - Make it so you only have to go back and forth once instead of four times -- simply put, just allow the player to take the Eagle Totem from the Owl Camp immediately once the quest begins, and then take the Owl Totem from the Eagle Camp.
    RoL 3/4 - Allow players to skip the large dialogue/cutscene sections, they're really cool but some people don't like sitting through 10 minutes of dialogue for each of these. I like the entire RoL series myself, both from a gameplay/lore angle (I look forward to every RoL quest), but I can imagine some players would prefer a way to skip them, especially if they've seen them on another class before.
    The Canyon Guides - Honestly, while it was a pain at the time, it is kinda hilarious in hindsight what you have to do to get Seluc places. Either buff his HP so he can't die, or increase his vision range so he can follow you further, etc. Seluc would get stuck and not move if I ever left around five blocks. However, he never got stuck chasing mobs, and could see them around 12 blocks away! After lots of frustration (and Seluc getting to <100 HP once), I decided to kite around 10-15 fast mobs, killed the ranged ones, and got Seluc to follow the remainder while they were following me. I ended up starting a PMI at Bantisu Air Temple but it was worth it because Seluc was so annoying (and yes, there were no other players and I did kill all the mobs at the end).

    Also, make the Thanos Vaults not just an autoscroller with a boss at the end, maybe add some puzzles to get in to the vault or smth

    personally i dont actually fully like RoL (wow big surprise) - while i love the general plot concept, and story was ok, i think my biggest problem was related to characterization and some points executed in the questline.

    keeping it short i think Lari wasn't as well written as she could've been, not throwing any shade to CT ofc but i feel like the I refuse to kill woe is me was pushed onto her too hard
    whilst i still havent had coherent enough thoughts of how to exactly change it, i do at least know i wish she was written a bit better in some form - a good suggestion i got was having her manage to beat it up but hesitate on the killing blow due to struggling w/ the deeply rooted morale thing
    w/how it is now it really just feels like they shoved her whole redemption of sorts into the absolute ends of both 4 and 5 and then she just...disappears into Dern

    i dont remember many other quests, but on the note of characters im sad the AJB gang doesnt get much development, i would've liked to see more of what they do before AJB wynn wont do it so i have to make hcs myself smh /lh

    i have a hard time explaining these kinds of things, and also rather not go into an argument or anything so i'm politely asking to Not if somehow someone wants to do that

    I'm definitely hoping to see Lari a lot more with her new redeemed character during the Dern update.

    I'm glad they at least added a quest dedicated to Elphaba so we can feel more connection and emotion towards her during the quest rather than "oh no random character dies within the first 10 minutes of the quest oh god oh no". I'm hoping they will give Lucio the same treatment in the next major update. I've always wanted Aledar to have that "pokemon rival" type character to him so we can see him progress and develop throughout the entire game which would make his death in AJF a lot more emotional but make him a lot more likeable of a character in general. The only problem with this is that this type of character role given to Aledar would make Tasim feel even more of a left out character and making both of them have the rival/best friend role would make things a bit too complicated and it would take away that feel of having your very own adventure a lot more.

    oh yea for sure, i'm hopeful Tasim'll make a return at least. the experience is really just All My apparent Friends (except maxie and ava ???) are Dead
    i could see smth like Aledar / Tasim just being npcs that could pop up sometimes, have flavour dialogue and dependent on progress appear somewhere else. while im unsure how great it would be from a game standpoint, it's something neat i'd wish to see

    but ye agree w/the rest of the reply tho, just mobile quoting is dumb i also miss Lucio even if he appears for one quest then just dies, love his funny chaos gremlin energy, thus is why i am out here going heeho and drawing npcs ig

    edit: make it so tasim has supportive dad friend energy and aledar uhhhhh...semi dad mostly rival energy /lh

    Not trying to start an argument here, but I'm kind of a fan of Lari's pacifism? That is, her actions are perfectly understandable because she believes her pacifism is the reason Orphion chose her in the first place (see: RoL 2) -- so the mistake ends up being just a cosmic communication error. She believes that since whatever she's doing must be right regardless of the outcome because it's the moral decision to make. She also thought she could trap it at the very end of the fight, very similar to something a lot of games/movie/media call heroic (choosing to trap and redeem a villain instead of killing it). Except Wynncraft questing isn't Undertale, routinely kills people off in swarms (As in, 90% of my favorite NPCs are dead or evil. F for Aledar/Dullahan/Gale/Axelus/Olof), and the CT needed background for the decay, so it escaped.
    Kinda a shame that she learns the wrong lesson in RoL4/5 -- not that killing is okay in self-defense against a being with ill intent, but that killing is okay for the greater good. Would absolutely make the same decision against Urelix repeatedly as well.
    Do also wish she pops up again later on in the Dern stage and gets more of a redemption.

    To me its just more cringy than actually funny. Shattered minds was great but cowfusion just was not a fun experience.
