A New Year, a New Beginning.

Hello all! I doubt I'm known well on the forums, but my screen name is Pally! I have been a part of the Wynncraft community for a while. Let me retrace;

My account name is PaladinSorcerer, and it used to be a shared account between me and my siblings. I was first introduced to Wynncraft through my older brother, who used to play Wynncraft when I was 11 years old. I would come home from school, and sit next to him on our large Mac our father used for work. I would watch him play Wynncraft for hours, I was entrapped. Mesmerized by the magnificence of Wynn, and how the world was crafted in this server. I would play, rarely, but I would never get the hang of the game. My brother played on a Mage and had leveled it to 47 before giving up on Wynn and quitting.

I would come back to the game in late 2016, early 2017, before Corkus was released. I remember, since I didn't have any knowledge about the game's systems, and I was using my brother's Mage account, I was stranded in Llevigar and believed it was the only place in Wynn. I would level up further by grinding in the Llevigar Plains, killing orcs and goblins until I eventually braved to go into the swamp, it was incredibly challenging for me, considering I would only use common items, as I did not want any of the negative stat bonuses from armor or weapons that were unique+. A month later, someone showed me the Wynn map, and I was completely mindblown, as I could see the places my brother had gone towards and wanted to go there as well! I would finally beat Bob's Tomb, the reason why my brother had left and got more and more into the game. I dragged my cousins into the game, and by the Corkus release in March, I was level 88. Around this time, I would meet my first online friend, Traemer. I can't remember if that's how you spell his name, and I don't care to check anymore (my friends list is over 500 people). We met in Ragni when I was giving out LE to lower leveled players, one of my favorite pastimes was pretending to be a level 1 in Ragni, with the helmet and simple weapon! I would sneak up on them and duel them, then I would destroy them in the duel like it was funny or something, and give them an LE afterward. But anyway, Traemer and I met there, he was level 40 and I helped him get to level 60! He then burst past me in level, all the way up to 93, where he would then eventually help me up there, and the two of us would reach level 100 together, in the old CSST dungeon.

GUILDS

I can already hear people clicking off this post, but let me tell you about one of the guilds I joined, and easily the most important one I'd ever been involved in; Titans Valor [ANO]

I joined Titans Valor, in the summer of 2018, after leaving Hax, and Virtual Zoo (a YouTuber guild) I found my home within ANO. I had made friends with @IceResistance, and wanted to get involved further within the guild. Getting more and more involved, I would eventually be given Chief in December of 2018, becoming the Legatus of the guild, commander of ANO's military, and all things related to its claims/political standing. During this time, ANO would join SOL, where I grew a passion for the politics behind wars, that would only grow brighter throughout 2018 and 2019, I became the co-leader after Inobel's departure from the guild, I cannot remember exactly where, but I still am unsure. I managed the guild any time I could, checking ANO's discord constantly throughout classes, and getting distracted consistently whenever something interesting in politics happened. I would be engrossed in creating events and would have genuine pride in the guild's continual survival and growth since I had joined. ANO would hit a few rocky spots in the future, but I was always there, ready to pounce whenever something happened. In 2020, I had realized that I was basically taking all the work in ANO for myself to do, causing myself extreme stress and allowing others to do nothing, I would lay back and give others work to do, and ANO thrived. It truly was our Golden Age, and I would be so laid back.

I would eventually gain ownership of the guild, only 6-8 months ago, when I was considering my departure at the turn of the year. ANO has grown up next to me, myself and this community have matured so much. I am so proud of everything that we have accomplished, and everything that we are going to do in the future.

I made so many friends within the guild, such as; Inobel, Dermond, Micah/Assassin, Neganom, Arkada, Arcane, Rascol, Trig Megawerty, Fireball, Cal, Fireblaze, Dark, Pain, Soyyeon, Ice, Ethereal, and Seb. I mainly named all of the ANO chiefs I can remember off the top of my head, but I also had so many other notable friends that weren't a part of ANO, and people who were a part of ANO that weren't chiefs such as Ponto, Lee, Aux, Polarbear, Danny, Esp, Tris, Pear, Scottmad, MysticStrider, Sam, and Xera (<3)

You have no idea how much ANO means to me, I am so scared of leaving, but I know that I must.
After over half a year of planning, I have decided that by New Years Day, I will depart Wynncraft, my journey ends here. I might hop on from time to time, but I will not be deeply involved with the community.

To everyone who touched my heart, thank you. Thank you so much for teaching me, for helping me become better as a person. ANO members, you are my pride, keep pushing forward, and I'll be cheering you all on.

Do indeed pop up from time to time to see your friends as what counts are the memories and the friends you made along the way. It may not seem like it but you have most likely affected your friends in a positive way and impacted them no matter what.

Hey, I just wanted to say you're a really wonderful person in general. I've enjoyed every conversation I've had with you, and in general I'm almost positive I would not be where I am in Wynncraft without you. You were the one who recruited me into ANO all those years ago, and you've always been so kind and caring and I'm so glad that I was able to meet you and share a little bit of my experience with a person as great as you. You'll certainly be missed, not just by ANO but by everyone else who knew you including me. You'll always have a place in the hearts of those you've touched, that much will always be true. Thank you for being all that you are, your kindness and wit has not only let you go far but also helped you let others go far, too. I will always appreciate you and enjoy talking to you, so if you ever feel like talking please feel free to send me a dm ^^ Much love, I wish you luck on your way outside of Wynn <3
