I really hate that they removed those crabs, they were like the most funny thing in Wynn and that new cave doesn't really have anything interesting in it.

Just recently got back to wynn and went from 60 to 102 after a what, 3-4 year hiatus:

Kander Forest/Lexdale gave me goosebumps the first time I went through the area and tried to explore the caves near the penitentiary. The music and mobs perfectly fit the eerie mood and location, and if it weren't for AJB/AJF, I would've personally found it darker than the SE. I really wanted to get out of there ASAP, but the completionist in me had to go explore everything first / finish Lexdale Witch Trials. Eventually went back there later to farm nii runes but it wasn't nearly as bad, but the first time I visited will stick with me for a while.
The Light Forest was a nice contrast to this, and despite others calling the music boring, it is probably my favorite location in Gavel from a personal standpoint. This is because it brings back the bright and happy atmosphere after the lengthy back-to-back swamp / dark forest / kander forest. It also has some of the best quests like Shattered Minds [funny thing: both SM and RoL4 involve you fetching two different elves dubiously illegal substances]. It is also right next to Cinfras, which is really nice if you want to get there quickly or runattempt corrupted dungeons.
The Realm of Light is also another highlight because of the music and how beautiful it looks. Also I find play the saviour to be the best boss music in wynn but you can disagree with me ofc

Probably time valley. For me it captures that feeling of a long forgotten civilization, the old, forgotten ruins, and the plants outgrowing them.

    Sky islands and silent expanse

I've always had an immesnse love for sky/floating island themed areas in video games and that combined with an area with a bunch of ancient ruins (also one of my favorite types of areas in video games) makes sky islands an amazing area for me.

I love silent expanse for it's really fucked up quests and dark atmosphere
also one of my favorite things in video games are when developers put like a super dangerous endgame area with extremely high leveled enemies right next to a bunch of early-mid game areas which increases my love for the silent expanse more
