Mage/Dark Wizard Question about trift monster build

So bc i get bored of gaia tstack, i decided to buy monster and try out tanky spellspam build with it. After searching in NamesAreHard's op mythic build thread, i decided to go with this build:

94k ehp and 12k base meteor dmg without endu and courage+trift seems good.
But i realize this build needs resurgence and i found out that 6/5 mr resu is so expensive since im alr broke from buying monster. I have no idea how much mr is needed for this build and a 4/5 mr resu is way cheaper so, is 4/5 mr good enough for this build to work or theres a build with similar ehp and dmg to replace this build until i can afford a resu? (if ur suggesting new build pls have at most 1 li items bc i dont wanna do li)
( i got a 100% roll -mr trift so the moon pool circlet will cancels the -mr on the trift
Also i found that i can cycle ice snake-meteor well on morph the nothing and can catch up with 2 cost heal spam so maybe 6/5 mr is the best? but pls tell me that 4/5 will also work bc 6/5 IS SO EXPENSIVE)

 

If you cycle 1 Meteor/Ice Snake per second, you need 10 mana per 5 seconds. Your build does not have Super Slow attack speed. This needs to be fixed. Time Rift + Monster builds depend on mSteal quite a bit and if you also want to consistently heal(Life Steal) you really want the slowest attack speed possible.

In short, slower attack speeds tend to be more consistent in triggering mSteal/Life Steal.

It includes Ataraxy for a Super Slow attackspeed, which makes you very likely to trigger Life Steal and Mana Steal. 4/3 mSteal + 3/5 mRegen(assuming a 4 mRegen Resu) would easily (mana)sustain this build.

With 3/5 mRegen (and 1 mRegen you get naturally every second) you will have 8 Mana/5s doing absolutely nothing. The 4/3 mSteal has a high chance to trigger with Super Slow attack speed. You should be able to easily sustain Mana!

Keep in mind that Time Rift can also trigger Main Attack for you, making it even easier to mSteal and Life Steal!

 

Thanks for the build but I have a -4/5 ms roll on my trift so I only get 2/3 ms from my monster roll, will 2/3 be fine? And also will ice snake-meteor-hit will work bc I have never tried mix mana before

 

As long as you are able to get 10 Mana per 5 seconds this should be doable with Ice Snake/Meteor cycles.

Super Slow attack is about 2 seconds cooldown per attack, so you need to do it every 2 seconds.

2/3 mSteal should be able to sustain your Mana pool on top of the mRegen, but it could be annoying sometimes.

Keep in mind that this is mainly a possible issue in 1vs1 fights. If you hit multiple mobs, you have a per-mob chance to trigger mSteal and Life Steal. In essence, this means almost all scenarios will work out for you.

You can always invest in a better Time Rift. If you don't like the build, you can always sell the items on the TM! What is money good for if you don't use it to try out new builds
