Where did you hear about Wynn?

Uhh so vote in the poll, i found bc of a grain video, im curious about this

 

craftedmovie’s old survival server. salted randomly started talking about it during an announcement and the rest is history

 

While I did watch craftedmovie back in 2013, I never played on their previous server. It was my younger brother who discovered Wynncraft around the same time and we both started playing together lol

 

Much like Ichika, my cousin told me about it the day he discovered wynn and I was instantly hooked.

Technically my brother discovered it before me in 2017, in a gaming magazine called “Robot” (idk if it exists internationally), but ge didn’t play for very long and also the magazine was full of misinformation.
I also saw some of Grian’s really old videos of him building Aldorey and showing how to do the corruption spikes with world edit (I think?), but I didn’t realise that they were about wynn or I wasn’t interested.
I finally gave it a shot when he advertised it in Hermitcraft S6 and recognised it as that one server I had seen my brother play a little bit 2 years prior.

 

I saw it in some minecraft guidebook and it was in the section of "rpg server" so i thought "hey why not give it a try"

 

Some random book of weird "minecraft challenges", and it listed wynn saying something like "oh wow its a super hard server imagine getting all the way to level 100!"
So I was like "Why not?" and then tried it, and then I really liked it


nah just kidding i was like "this is a dumb server" and forgot about it
fast forward a few months I got sick and had to quarantine so I played it with my friend since bored
and then I really liked it!

 

I simply saw the 1.17 trailer in 2017 on Grian's video. Just by seeing that short clip, I got a rush of adrenaline and a feeling that I needed to play this game.

 

Came across a trailer for the server as a recommended video from a "craftedmovie" channel and tried it.

 

I came across Wynn while I was randomly looking through Minecraft server list websites, fast-forward over 6 years later, it’s my most played Minecraft server, and I still actively play it even to this day

Found a playthrough series on Youtube by a Hungarian Youtuber. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to play it.

 

2016, I was a stupid kid. I was watching Grian's minecraft meme map video (full of dead and unfunny memes) and because that video featured his friends, a video of them playing Wynn was in my recommended. For some reason, Grian has since deleted the video, but the video was basically just them doing the tutorial and then some emerald trail. I was like ''hell yeah! i have to join this server!'' and just really enjoyed it.

Once I hit my level 60s I had a really hard time levelling up so I got bored and left, came back to see how the server was doing in 2018 and was blown away at all the crazy new armor stand mobs and stuff. Left for another year after further difficulty grinding (i grinded herb cave for the herb spawn and not the magma spawn for some reason), came back AGAIN in 2019, have stayed since.

Bonus: The reason I made a forums account was because I was exploring the map and found the tree island world event, and was freaked out + confused. I asked my friend to join Wynn to check it out, after like half an hour he found it. I made forum post and was quickly informed that it's just a world event. Then I found the general suggestions subforum and had a blast there, so I stayed.

 

A friend introduced me to it in 2014. The joke is, he only kept on playing until like lvl 14, while I ended up where I'm now lol.

 

I saw the original trailer on CraftedMovie, a channel I liked to watch along with ExplodingTNT and ItsJerryAndHarry. Nostalgia anyone?

there was a old forums joke to quit skyblock and play wynncraft (and also mh99)
and ngl it was a good decision
cant wait until next major update because idk what to do in wynn anymore

 

this youtube video with over a million views got my attention, and after watching the corkus trailer (ironic now, isnt it?) me and a friend decided to play together, although he quit around level 60

so many boomers here

 

Back in like 2016 one of my friends who I used to play minecraft with said that we should try out this server he found called wynncraft and then I got super into it for like a year and quit at level 50. Then like a year and a half ago (maybe closer to two?) my younger brother found the server and that got me all the way back into it
