New Wynncraft event announced via Twitter

Hey y'all! Just spreading word before the inevitable official announcement- A new cosmetic event likely similar to the Bonfire event comes to Wynn this friday, as announced earlier this hour on the official Wynncraft twitter!

Looks cool so far! Minigame sounds promising since bonfire was JUST cosmetics, so it definitely seems like a big step up from bonfire thus far.

 

I hope there's like festival area, like the wynnter fair.
I actually love this idea honestly.

I think it would be even cooler if they added these events and festivals into the lore. odd thing to think about, but Wynn has no cannon holidays.

I'd also like to give some spotlight to the pedestal NPC added to housing today

I forgot who suggested trophy cabinets for housing but yeah

 

There's also a pedestal added to housing that can display the collectibles in this event, or in reality any item.

 

This event looks pretty nice compared to Bonfire, especially the new minigame. Can't wait to see what that will be. (And also blow all my money on crates to get epic loot at best)

 

Observation of the teaser:

There are black cat ears as a cosmetic (similar to the fox ears, actually a reskin of them i think) as well as a cat pet

There is a dagger skin in the middle, implying a ''ghost set'' of cosmetics. The skeleton dude has a lantern which I suspect is a relik

Spider wybel in the background so you can torture arachnophobes with it

A ''Mythic box on a stick'' accessory on a pumpkin. This pumpkin might also be part of the accessory judging from the cobweb robe looking thing and the curvature of its head+ stalk stump but I don't know. Might even be a separate accessory.

there are chains in the teaser image - is wynncraft getting updated to newer versions, or is that just a teaser image made elsewhere?

I don't think those are vanilla chains, I think those are either a retextured half-block (like with books being daylight sensors) or an armor stand model that will be used for decoration
