Out of curiosity, why do you all want an ocean update so badly? With the exception of maro peaks needing a climbing helmet and some bad quests, I actually think it's the most consistently "good" region.

 

1. It could use some new builds in areas
2. Although the content there is mostly good, I feel like there should be more of it. Some large locations/cities only have 1 or 2 quests.

 

Its such a large region with so much potential and so much interesting lore, but it barely has any quests, and only 2 or 3 notable locations. If more content was added to the region, along with more Corkus quests, it would be a much more worthwhile region to go to. You essentially go to the ocean once every 5 levels to do the random quest and leave.

 

It's a giant, ugly blue expanse in the middle of the map. Some undersea builds and more content would be nice
(by undersea builds i mean an actual nice seafloor instead of flat nothingness)

 

fruman gate has existed since like 2016 iirc, it came with corkus

anyway my prediction is fruma because of the tommyinnit BTS video they did with salted, in the diamond land you could see snowcapped peaks of mountains, so it was definitely somewhere that bordered the current mountain ranges. (and in that video they said it wouldnt be ready for at least a year, and it was made in summer 2020 so)

 

Realm of Light already has 2 of the 3 raids in the game, it doesn't need a third...
Although plot-wise it would be a good place to add a raid

I think fallen factory might work as a raid. It would need reworking but it could be interesting.

The problem is it's already a dungeon...
Although it would work quite well, as there isn't currently a level 90 raid, and with an abandoned factory there is a lot you can do gameplay wise

 

Gonna add two post-1.20.4 thoughts:

- Given that we've had no teasers and we just had a 1.20.X update, I get the feeling that 1.21 is still a ways away, although I absolutely do not know if that is the case for certain.
- If an emerald pouch can be added, literally anything could be.

It might be something completely new. Maybe a whole new island or province? I doubt it but its possible. I hope just one or two brand new mechanics. Maybe a pouch menu? I mean probably not, but the comunity would be ecstatic. I would like to see an idea for a way to expand just a bit more in mid game, like when your around in Almuj to Llevigar, around 40 to 50, cuz to me its the part in mid game ive played through that could just have one more small mechanic to spice things up.

 

I remember a CT saying that releasing 1.20.x updates barely affects their progress on 1.21, but I might be misremembering. Also, we usually get teasers when the update is very close (so, October) so idk what you're talking about, nothing hints at 1.21 taking longer than other updates
