Warring is going to be painful and costly, you probably wont be able to solo med anymore with nerfed sp pots and vhigh might be impossible to do.

Honestly, killing unleveled is the worst change to ever have happened, we want ppl to be able to grind raw don't we? What we instead do is make it even harder to grind for Mythics (which even less ppl will be able to buy cuz no raw) and with killing gavel/ocean/wynn runs everyone will be stuck in the same couple of zones running empty chests..

Am I making sense or what? Hows it a good change to to add a pouch that literally enables ppl to finally make consistant money off lootrunning and then nerfing everything related to it and killing a ton of runs?

(in addition to that most of the mythics aren't worth much and almost noone would be able to buy them anyways cuz as mentioned the ppl who could buy shit can't grind the raw to buy shit cuz the only way to get raw is to get mythics and have someone buy that which noone can do because all the elite players sit on their raw with all the good items already in their inventory plz change this shit cuz if average players can grind raw that will have unseen consequences ik but it would finally bring some new wind into this dead af economy this change is bad revert it plz)

honestly the the root of most lootrunning problems comes down to the fact that loot is generated based on how long it hasnt been looted for. But yeah if nothing changes its going to be impossible to lootrun

Why not make chests client based so noone can snipe them duh
well that's probably stupid as well but the problem is not really lootrunning, the problem is that theres not really a way to consistantly grind raw and thus ppl are stuck with the systems we have i mean i understand its hard to do that cuz theres no borrowed power mechianic and also no system that replaces gear every other month (like in wow)

The benefits are that the game is less broken and the player isn't handed a literal free win button. You can get through all the quests and dungeons without the need for sp pots; and I can't solo Qira or do LI, so I don't think I'm more skilled than the average casual player. Up to 71 sp in each stat for 8 minutes at level 95 is just ridiculous on paper as it is in practice; 1.5x more total sp than the inherent sp you have at level 101. And that's not even taking into account the side boosts. It's how you can solo LI, a level 100+ challenge, with a level 20 build...

They’re the epitome of rainbow slap; you can slap them onto any build and have no weaknesses. Just absolutely broken.

 

for 2 hours i was able to play on hero beta before they finally realized oh hey this guy right here is supposed to be banned because he got lots of aldoreis secret completions in 1.20.2 or whatever the fuck when i exploited.

 

Having OP potions is also just fun, I can't imagine how boring my 50~ LI runs would have been without the fun runs where I got drugged up and obliterated every boss effortlessly. There's really something special about feeling completely overpowered.

 

The whole point is that they're supposed to be absurdly powerful to allow people who don't have the skills to still beat bosses and progress through quest content.

 

I don't think using YY as an example in a conversation about balance is ever going to be a good idea, basically nobody else could actually beat LI with the build he used so that's the exception, not the rule. I also don't see how that being possible is an issue, it's not like LI is competitive and the rewards are untradable so it's not like the challenge having an optional easy mode is affecting the economy.

 

Gotta say I'm kinda concerned about pouches. Also still no dialogue fix, so...

 

Inhibitor was intended to be an easter egg item which entirely existed for the sake of randomly being discovered one day, and as such it's lost all reason to exist since it was revealed by Trade Market on accident. It will be removed for full patch release, or whenever Beta is updated next.
