Stuck in realm of light 3

I’m stuck at the port of the quest where you have to kill to progress, but no matter how many enemies I kill the door doesn’t open. However, I listened to the advice that some people told me and logged out and came back, and the door opened. But when I log back in the game goes into a buggy state where the music doesn’t play and no chat comes through, and also when I try to progress the game from there by clicking the painting, it doesn’t work. From here if I log out to log back in it sets me back right to the kill enemies room with the door locked and bugged, restarting the cycle of bugginess.

Also, about the bug itself, I'm not sure, what does your quest book say to do? You may have to just file a bug report and hope it's fixed if there's no way to work around it.

 

That’s weird, maybe fry /kill when above 5 soul points as that worked for me when I had a bugged realm of light 3
Then just go back into the mansion and follow through all the steps you did before

 

my book says to leave the room and continue exploring the castle. I’m starting to think there isn’t a fix for this too.
