There is a bug that isn't actually possible to avoid exploiting. More specifically, the steps to reproduce it are a part of normal gameplay that isn't optional for the content that it affects. In this case, would you say that said content shouldn't be done at all, or do you propose an alternate solution?

edit: In hindsight, it's possible to work around the bug. The problem is that doing so necessitates knowledge of the bug and how it's reproduced, which is bannable to share.

In theory, this is obvious. The complication stems from the sheer abundance of bugs. I think I could come up with at least ten suspicious game behaviours that, combined, relate to only two sections of the game. I'm happy to list a one-line description of each, but filing comprehensive reports for all of them would take a lot of time and effort — more than what the average player has to play the actual game. It's additionally demoralizing for a potential reporter that some of their reports go ignored for prolonged time spans. A lot of people also disagree with the decisions made in recent major updates, which makes them look like lose-lose changes that only add broken or poorly designed content.

That's still harmful, as you could have spoiled the update if you wanted. It gave you the chance to do harm, but you didn't.

They clearly saw that I'm not doing anything bad. And even if so, I don't think perm ban is fair, cuz I'm banned for 3 years by now, maybe it's enough already?

Mate, just send an appeal, the mods aren't the devil's incarnate, just be sorry, file an appeal, and don't be a jerk. I'm sure they'll shorten the ban.
