Sooooo there is a dxp weekend, I'm assuming we just don't record any runs until Monday? It's not like the deadline is closing in.

 

Unlike bombs or the discord link dxp a dxp weekend affects all players equally for its entire duration. It is 100% free game to make use of.

tbh i think /gu xp 50 is the best way to make it fair for ppl who can't play during this weekend

or make a second prize pool for non-dxp weekend runs

 

Not everybody is in a guild and forcing everybody to join one to compete seems needlessly strict.

If those who submit runs outside of dxp can't come close to breaking the top 3 I will certainly consider awarding the best of them a slightly smaller prize.

It is also important to keep in mind participation for the challenge dictates how frequently I do these challenges. So participating in this challenge will contribute to me doing it again.

As professions weren't used the profession bomb that was thrown doesn't count against you since it literally affected nothing.

Those deaths really screwed you over as you managed to lose enough to where just from what you lost on death and the time lost you lost out on a minimum of 275 health, but if you factor in potential loot obtained it would have been easily 500 lost if not more. With just 1 extra level that you could have gotten in the time lost you could identify your morph-emerald at the end(50 HP lost), you lost a morph-emerald on death(50 HP lost), you couldn't buy a better helmet(40 HP lost) and boots(135 HP lost) in almuj due to lost time and money, and you never got a bracelet.

That fabled really helped make up for the loss, but it's such a shame that your run could have been so much better.

I sat here doing math on what you could reasonably have expected to get if you hadn't died. Ultimately I concluded that without those deaths you would have been able to loot some more chests and even without getting any legendaries you would have gotten between 1800 and 2100(depending on what rolls items got) health in the end.

I highly encourage you to try again before the dxp runs out :)

edit: i cut off everything past the 1 hour time limit, didnt know i was past it when recording

probably could've gotten more as I only used about 54 minutes
but wouldn't have been much more as I hadn't planned anything past that point as I didn't expect to have that much time left over
