Mage/Dark Wizard Lvl 68 mage build for TOL

I'm a lvl 68 mage and I'm searching for a good build to do the Temple of the legends quest

I’d wait for lvl 75 tho, as the xp scales with ur lvl, so u will lose xp if u do it now vs 75

68 is the right lvl to do it, use the dude above’s build

 

I personalyl used ultramarine and whatever random accessories. TOL boss is not hard.

 

I just used morph dragons eye bracelet myself with some random chestplate

 

i personally dislike morph at low lvl bc you dont have that high int and the sustain isnt the greatest

 

I mean morph is just good cause it scales really well with ur lvl, can solo everything, and is cheap
And the sustain is true but the int is fine imo cause 68-70 with blue mask u get 105, and 70+ u can get 129 intel (with adamantite and 7/8 morph). And from 64-68 u can get 68 intel which isn’t bad, and this is without int weapons which I usually have around then.
Unless u mean before that as low levels in which cause eh that’s true.

adamante isnt better than morph steel

also, morphs sustain isnt just bad, its god awful
6 mr with full set, for 1 2 costs
at low lvls its even worse lmao
scaling well with your lvl works iwth any random piece of armor to slap on
anything can solo anything at lvl btw
yes def cheap but then again anything else is just about the same price
i really dont want to get into a debate on why I believe that morph set is bad after 1.20.3

 

True I don’t wanna get into a whole debate either
Just wanna say that it’s honestly not bad and I like it cause at early lvls when grinding a new class it’s super easy to get and gives xp bonus as well as when u lvl up 10 levels in no time instead of having to get a whole new build it’s just replace one piece ur good
And sustain up til lvl 70 it’s not the best, u can’t go infinitely or anywhere close but it’s not too bad in my experience cause nothing hard happens then
And I never run out of mana on my 2 lvl 70s (assassin and mage) cause I just use mr and Ms weapons as they r common, like locrain and stave of the legends.
Now are there things better? 100%, morph is in no way the best or even close, but it’s good enough. This is just my opinion on it, if u disagree oh well, we can just agree to disagree :p

 

bwt i recommend not lvling classes until you can get xp stuff, then just causlaly get like a ton of xp

I just lvl up casually by doing all quests again and it works fine for me, don’t really have to grind for lvls too much inbetween quests either and if I wanna get higher quick I can just speedrun them

 

If you want cheaper but still very effective alternative then you can use the ultramarine set, get a water wand of some sort, buy an intelligence potion, and just spam ice snake and meteor until cow falls.

i forgot actual amount of xp but its A LOT of xp bc forg chest xp scaling is weird
